A man who claims he 'saw Jesus' has explained why he believes the world will end in the coming hours.
The end is nigh... is something we've heard an awful lot over the years - but it hasn't come to fruition, has it?
There have been numerous times that the world was prophesied to end, including the conclusion of the Mayan calendar in 2012 and in 2020, but of course neither have happened.
And some five years after the last outlandish prediction, one man who claims he 'saw Jesus' has explained why he believes the world could actually come to an end tomorrow, Tuesday, September 23.

Joshua Mhlakela, from South Africa, explained that he knows God will be coming to ‘rescue the Christians out of the world’ on September 23 and 24, 2025 while appearing on the CENTTWINZ TV YouTube channel in a video uploaded earlier this year.

This is the same day that Rosh Hashanah, or the Feast of Trumpets, is taking place - a holy day that marks beginning of the Jewish new year.
The pastor explained that this week, God’s judgement would leave the world ‘unrecognizable’ and alleged a rupture would occur with ‘such power’ that it would cause the Earth to ‘shake’.

Make of that what you will.
“The rapture is upon us, whether you are ready or not,” he said in the interview. "I saw Jesus sitting on his throne, and I could hear him very loud and clear saying, ‘I am coming soon.’”
The New York Post reports that some people are even quitting their jobs in preparation for the 'end of the world' this week.

But as you'd probably expect, some people have disputed the claims made by Mhlakela.
"To all the people supporting him: how can you trust the word of a man who doesn’t have proof of his 'encounter' with Jesus Christ, all we know he can be making it up for clicks," one person penned on Reddit.
Meanwhile, comedian Kevin Fredericks asked in an Instagram Reel: "What time zone is it happening in? Because the whole thing about the rapture that I was taught was that no man knows the date or the hour…
“There are 24 time zones on Earth, 38 if you include the ones that have half-hour times. No man knows how you all know."

It's unknown at this time what time this alleged rapture is expected to take place.
