A 7-Eleven employee has tragically died after an unidentified manager allegedly 'sat on her' during a bust-up in the workplace.
Jessica McLaughlin, 24, headed to work at 7-Eleven on June 24 expecting a bog-standard day, but she was allegedly attacked by a female manager at the Californian store.
The manager is accused of pulling Jessica's hair and sitting down on her body with her full weight, her family said.
"She held her down, sat on top of her, and didn’t let her breathe," Sean McLaughlin, Jessica's brother, claimed on a GoFundMe page.

Sean went on: "While some coworkers tried to help and stop it, they were attacked too. When she finally got free, she collapsed. She wasn’t breathing."

Sean added that while some of Jessica's colleagues were giving her CPR, the unidentified manager 'ran to the back room to try and delete the security footage'. The family claim she then fled the scene on a bike.
Jessica died on Wednesday (July 2) after she was taken off her life support.

Sean continued: "She has been kept alive on machines for the past couple of days. For all of these days, her mom Jasmine, her dad Clancey, our brother Anthony, step dad Albert, faithful boyfriend Adrian, sister Linda and I — along with so many friends and family — stayed by her side, hoping, praying for some kind of miracle.
"But the damage from the lack of oxygen was too much. Her brain had stopped functioning. After getting second opinions and doing everything we could, we have to make the impossible decision to let her go."
Los Angeles Police Department confirmed they were dispatched to the store in Hollywood and found Jessica unconscious on the floor of the shop when they arrived.

"Preliminary information indicated that two women became involved in a verbal dispute inside the business that escalated into a physical confrontation," a release from the LAPD read.
"Investigators have obtained video evidence of the incident but are not releasing it at this time."
CBS News reports police were launching a homicide investigation following Jessica's death this week.
7-Eleven also shared a statement following the incident, telling UNILAD: "Our hearts are with those impacted during this difficult time. The suspect has been terminated, and we continue to fully cooperate with law enforcement in their investigation."
