Travis Barker Breaks Silence To Share Update After Being Hospitalised

Travis Barker has broken his silence to share an update after being hospitalised.
Confirming reports he suffered from 'life threatening pancreatitis', the Blink-182 drummer revealed on social media: "I went in for an endoscopy Monday feeling great. But after dinner, I developed excruciating pain and have been hospitalized ever since.
"During the endoscopy, I had a very small polyp removed, right in a very sensitive area, usually handled by specialists, which unfortunately damaged a critical pancreatic drainage tube. This resulted severe life threatening pancreatitis.
"I am so very grateful that with intensive treatment I am currently much better."

Barker's new wife, Kourtney Kardashian, has since released a statement via Page Six, in which she said: "Travis and I went in for a routine endoscopy together and he ended up with severe, life-threatening pancreatitis.
"I’m so so thankful to our specialists, doctors, and nurses at Cedars Sinai for taking such wonderful care of my husband and me during our stay."
This comes after Barker tweeted: "God save me", which resulted in his 16-year-old daughter taking to social media to ask fans for their support.
Alabama Luella Barker took to her Instagram stories on 29 June to call on her father's fans to 'please send your prayers'.
She also posted a since-deleted picture of the musician on her TikTok account.
The drummer's face couldn't be seen in the picture, but he was sporting a medical bracelet on his right wrist, as seen in the image above.
Barker has also received love from ex-wife and Alabama’s mother, Shanna Moakler, who told Page Six earlier this week: “I pray for a speedy recovery and for the comfort of my children as I know they are very concerned and worried.
"I know with his support system he will do it again,” she added. “I will always be there for him and my children."
Barker was first rushed to West Hills Hospital and Medical Center on Tuesday (28 July) before being transported to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, where he received further care with his wife by his side.
One of the musician's other children, 18-year-old Landon Asher Barker, has yet to address his father's hospitalisation, as well as his stepdaughter Atiana, who is also yet to comment on the incident.
This worrying news comes after Barker and Kourtney Kardashian finally tied the knot in a lavish ceremony at Dolce & Gabbana's L'Ulivetta villa in Italy on 22 May.
The pair are known to have been trying to conceive their first child together through IVF, which has been documented on the first season of The Kardashians.
