TikTok star Addison Rae has caused a stir online for wearing what some have described as a ‘blasphemous’ bikini.

In a now-deleted Instagram post, the 21-year-old star shared an image from a photoshoot promoting a new collaboration between Adidas and Praying.

In the shot, she’s donning the collection’s $100 ‘Holy Trinity Bikini’, which reads ‘Father’ and ‘Son’ on the top and ‘Holy Spirit’ on the bottoms.

While many commenters praised the pic, it appears to have offended a fair few people.

“This is wrong on so many levels…,” wrote one on Twitter, while another simply said, “So disrespectful.”

A third, who went in on the She’s All That star, said: “You have done a very foolish deed young lady. You have committed blasphemy against the Holy Trinity. You have brought condemnation upon yourself.

“Blasphemy can be forgiven but blasphemy against the Holy Spirit can not.”

Page Six also shared a number of negative comments from the original Instagram post, which has since been removed.

“Nah this disrespectful to Jesus. Sad what y’all do for money,” said one, with a second writing, “This is not okay! BLASPHEMY!”

Another asked: “Is nobody gonna talk about this disrespecting religions?”

Despite the fury online, there was plenty of support for Rae too, including from this person who said: “If women’s bodies weren’t sexualized the Addison Rae bikini wouldn’t be a scandal.”

Another suggested, “Don't listen to the church Addison,” while a third chimed in, “Only uptight sexually repressed puritans, predators, pious priests, preachers, etc would be offended, it's great satire on religious mythology.”

While we’re on the topic of controversy-causing collabs, back in June Addison accused none other than Drake of photoshopping her hands onto his pictures.

Yes, the 35-year-old rapper took to Instagram to share a selfie of sorts, only it featured what appeared to be a woman’s hand on his head.

The TikToker caught wind of Drake’s apparently photoshopped social media post and took to Twitter to share the uncanny resemblance between her hand and, well, what she thought was also her hand.

“This was way too familiar,” the social media personality wrote, alongside a screenshot of Drake’s image.

Fans took to the comments section in shock over the supposed Photoshop fail, with one onlooker asking: “Is that not literally her hand?”

“Not awful but still pretty hilarious photoshop work done here boys,” another added, with a third noting, “It’s literally her whole hand.”

Other onlookers speculated that the pic could signal an upcoming music collaboration between Drake and Addison, who is also a singer.

“I speak for everyone when I say we need an Addison Rae song with Drake,” said one, while another added, “I need an Addison Rae and Drake song so badly.”

We haven’t heard of any musical collabs between the two since then, so for now it appears to be yet another bizarre moment in Drake’s meme-making history.
