Taylor Swift pauses concert to tell fans not to throw presents on stage as she gets 'freaked out'

The singer was forced to pause her show in Argentina

Pop star Taylor Swift paused a recent performance to ask fans to avoid doing one thing that ‘freaked her out’ during her shows.

In a clip that has gone viral on social media, the musician asks the crowd to not throw ‘presents’ on stage and reveals the reason why.

The video has been viewed more than one million times since it was posted on X.

During a gig in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on Saturday night (11 November), Swift said: “And just because communication means having gentle healthy boundaries - it really freaks me out when stuff gets thrown on the stage.

“Because if it's on the stage then a dancer can trip on it and I love that you brought presents and that is so nice, but just can you please not throw them on the stage.

"I love you so much!"

The ‘I Knew You Were Trouble’ hit-maker then continued with her performance as the crowd can be heard erupting in cheers.

It is not clear exactly what ‘present’ was thrown on stage to elicit Swift's reaction but its safe to say the star wasn’t too pleased.

Though X users also commended Swift for being honest and polite to her fans after the incident rather than snapping in frustration.

“This is how you communicate to your fans. Such a class act,” one user wrote.

“I LOVE how professional she is, because of it were me i’d do something much worse,” another added.

“Even when calling out people's behavior she is still the nicest kindest person in the world,” someone else praised.

“She handles this so kindly and professionally. i can’t even imagine how stressful it must be to have stuff thrown at you and never know what it is. please respect this everyone,” a fourth user commented.

Swift also sent her die-hard Swifties reeling when she improved a lyric change during a performance of her song 'Karma' over the weekend.

"Karma is the guy on the Chiefs coming straight home to me," she belted out, replacing the original lyric: "Karma is the guy on the screen coming straight home to me."

The change was in reference to her current beau, Kansas City Chiefs' tight end, Travis Kelce.

|t seems as though Kelce, who was at the performance, couldn’t believe the moment as he was spotted smacking his hands against the sides of his face in astonishment.

The sportsman was then seen breaking into some dance moves, while he watched the show beside Swift's father.
