Fan pays $520 for Taylor Swift Eras Tour ticket only to find her view of stage is blocked off completely

A Swifty was left stunned after her expensive VIP Taylor Swift tickets put her in a spot where her view was completely blocked.

A Taylor Swift fan demanded an explanation after her expensive VIP tickets apparently got her a terrible view at an Eras Tour concert.

Seeing Taylor Swift perform live is likely a dream come true for most of her loyal fan base.

So, when it comes to her ongoing Eras Tour, some Swifties have been more than willing to shell out the big bucks to see their favorite pop star.

However, one fan in Australia took to TikTok to show how after spending AU $800 (US $520), she might have actually had the worst view in the arena.

These are VIP tickets we are talking about, mind you. Take a look:

The fan, known as @keelsandfriends on TikTok, revealed in a clip that has been viewed more than 600,000 times just how bad her view was - which was obstructed by a massive tent ‘tower’ in the 100,000 seat strong Melbourne Cricket Ground.

Many of her social media followers simply couldn’t believe their eyes, and the fan even demanded that Australian ticket company Ticketek explain themselves.

A Ticketek spokesperson told UNILAD they 'release inventory at the Promoter’s direction'. The promoter for Swift's Melbourne concert was Frontier.

Replying to those talking in the comments, the fan explained that eventually she did manage to get a better view, but even that seemed a stressful process.

“They moved us to another restricted area but thankfully better than our original view!" she wrote replying to a comment.

"Took an hour of talking to 5 different supervisors, but we could see the stage which was all that mattered."

The TikToker even replied to those who criticised her and said she should be thankful she was even at the concert.

She replied: "Knew someone would comment this eventually. We were SO lucky to be at the concert, but I think it’s fair to say paying for VIP tickets and not being able to see the stage is disappointing,"

Other people asked what seats she was in to try and gauge whether their own seats would have them in a similar situation.

Some confirmed that for earlier tour dates they had shelled out similar amounts and had their view blocked.

The TikTok also shared another video, likely after she and her friend had been moved from their obstructed seats.

For most they said staff did help them get to better seats.

And thankfully for the TikToker, her story does have a lovely lil' happy ending.

The pair of them are close to tears of happiness as they rejoice their experience seeing Swift live as a ‘moment [they] will never forget’
