Sophie Turner Bluntly Rejected Kendall Jenner's After-Party Invite To Her Face
The Game of Thrones star instead ended up in bed eating pasta
Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner has revealed she bluntly rejected Kendall Jenner's invite to a Met Gala after-party and spent the rest of the evening eating pasta in bed.
Don't get me wrong, I love pasta and most of the time would enjoy nothing more than to settle in with a heaped plate and a good Netflix series, but if the alternative option was a swanky, star-studded party I don't think it would be too hard to leave the pasta behind.
In a recent interview with Jimmy Fallon, Turner herself admitted she couldn't quite believe she was invited to such events without being a competition winner, but even so she found she couldn't help but turn down Jenner when she asked her outright to attend.

Turner, who is set to appear in HBO's new show The Staircase, indicated to Fallon that she's still not quite used to being wrapped up in the world of celebrities and admitted she's 'really bad' in their company.
“Every celebrity I come into contact with, I act up or say something stupid and recently it's been if a celebrity interacts with me, I immediately just shut them down. And I'm like, I don't want anything to do with you," Turner explained.
Admittedly it's not the most friendly reaction when faced with people you admire or adore, though being starstruck can definitely make people do some strange things.
Turner made clear that in spite of her outward reaction she's actually in shock and awe on the inside, but having gone 'too far the other way' in the past the Game of Thrones star apparently tries to overcorrect with her rejections.
She used Jenner's invitation as a recent example of this, explaining: "Kendall Jenner was at the Met and I love the Kardashians but I think she's - she's so gorgeous in real life and I'm so struck by her beauty and she like invited me to, they were having this low-key after-party and she went 'do you want to come?', and I just went: 'No. No, no I don't'."
The actor berated her decision while recalling the exchange to Fallon, questioning why she did it to herself and revealing she then just 'sat in bed and ate pasta' while thinking about where else she could have been.
Though she missed out on Jenner's after-party, Turner at least said her night eating pasta 'wasn't bad'.
