People are flocking to social media to congratulate Pierce Brosnan and Keely Shaye Brosnan's son on his graduation.

Mamma Mia! star Pierce and journalist, documentary filmmaker, director and producer Keely couldn't contain their pride for their son, Paris, on his graduation day.

The pair both shared images to Instagram of themselves alongside their youngest son to mark the occasion - with Paris very much following in his parents footsteps with the area of his degree.

Pierce uploaded a photograph of himself and Keely standing either side of Paris in his graduation gown and cap, as he holds his certificate.

Paris and Keely can also be seen wearing leis around their neck - garlands which are 'a common symbol of love, friendship, celebration, honour or greeting' as per Skyline Hawaii.

Alongside the image, Pierce's caption reads: "Dearest Paris, Heartfelt congratulations on your graduation from Loyola Marymount University School of Film & Television.

"Go into the world with a brave heart and create stories that will make the world a better place. @paris.brosnan."

"Congratulations on your accomplishment. Beautiful family," another wrote.

A third commented: "Can’t wait to watch your films @paris.brosnan. Congratulations to the proud parents."

And a fourth added: "Wonderful thank you for sharing. Congratulations."

Keely also shared an image of the trio on her Instagram page.

Keely also shared a photo from Paris' graduation.

She captioned the image: "CONGRATULATIONS @paris.brosnan on your graduation from Loyola Marymount University School of Film & Television.

"We are beyond proud of you and the incredible passion and talent you possess.

"Go forth and do good things. A man becomes what he dreams… dream well. Love, Mom & Dad. To watch Paris’ short documentary films now Google Paris X FEED."

And Keely and Pierce's other son, Dylan, is as equally creative as Paris.

The 26-year-old is a model and musician and graduated from the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts in 2020.

Pierce also has three other children, Charlotte, Sean and Christopher, from his previous marriage to Cassandra Harris.

Sadly, both actors Cassandra and Charlotte passed away due to cancer.

Sean is also an actor and Christopher is a film producer - it's clear that the whole family have all followed in the footsteps of Pierce into the world of film and TV.
