Nick Cannon has revealed the one partner he regrets not having a child with.

Yes, you read that right. Apparently having 12 children simply isn't enough for actor and television host Nick Cannon, who's on his way to catching up with the UK's Radford family.

While Cannon has made a terrific effort so far in becoming a father to as many kids as he can, he's since revealed there's one partner who he regrets not having a child with - the one that got away.

In an interview with Angelica Nwandu for the Shade Room, uploaded to YouTube on Friday, 17 March, Cannon explains there's one woman he wished he had a child with.

He said: "Everybody talks about having kids [in relationships].

"If I say this, I know it’s gonna go viral. But when Christina Milian and I were doing Love Don’t Cost a Thing, I remember when I found out she was pregnant [years later] … I was like, ‘Dang, man'.

"But I was so happy for her. I remember we [were] kids in love early on, and so we talked about that. But to each his own. Life plans it out. The universe gives it how it’s supposed to be given."

Cannon and Milian started dating following the debut of Love Don't Cost a Thing in 2003 and their relationship lasted two years.

But why did the pair break-up?

In an interview with E! News’ 'Just the Sip,' Milian eluded to the possibility of Cannon having been unfaithful after she discovered 'messages' on his phone.

She said: "The next thing you know, I was reading [everything]. For, like, a month, I was reading messages. It was unreal that it was happening. He was living at my house… It was just like, 'Wait, under my roof this is happening?' It just kind of blew me away."

Milian pointed to Cannon having been unfaithful during their relationship.

However, Cannon shut down any rumours of him having cheated when he appeared on Power 106.

The actor said: "I don't think I did anything wrong. I wasn't cheating, you got to be in a relationship to cheat.

"We not going to get into the details, but I would say the way I believe if, she went through my phone and all that, and back then is what I told her and I will tell her now, but if you go looking for something you gone find something."

Cannon denied he'd cheated.

After Milian and Cannon parted ways, Milian ended up getting married to French pop and R&B singer Matt Pokora in December 2020 and the pair have gone on to have two children together.

Milian also shares a child with Terius Youngdell Nash (a.k.a. singer, songwriter and record producer The-Dream).

Cannon, as you've already probably heard, has gone on to have a whopping 12 children since 2011, although that total could have been even more had he shared a child with Milian.
