Nick Cannon says God will decide how many children he has

Nick Cannon is doing the Lord's work, apparently.

Nick Cannon welcomed his 12th child this past December, which was a shock to absolutely no one.

What is surprising, though, is that it sounds like the comedian is finally running out of steam and wants to cool off on the baby-making for a while.

But, ultimately, Nick, 42, believes the amount of children he has is up to God - so who knows how many he'll end up with.

Cannon might finally be finished having babies.

The Wild 'n Out host told Entertainment Tonight that he'd be quite happy to pump the breaks now that baby number 12 is here but, since it's up to God, you 'never know' when another one might pop up.

"God decides when we’re done, but I believe I definitely got my hands full," he shared.

"And I’m so focused. I’m locked in. But when I’m 85, you never know. I might [have more]."

In December 2022, Nick welcomed his 12th child, a baby girl named Halo Marie, with model Alyssa Scott.

Nick and Alyssa had also welcomed a baby boy named Zen back in 2021, but the child tragically died at just five months old following a devastating brain cancer diagnosis.

In between the birth of Zen and Halo Marie, Nick welcomed three other children with three different women.

There's his daughter Beautiful Zeppelin, who he welcomed with Abby De La Rosa in November 2022, and five-month-old Onyx, who he shares with The Price Is Right star LaNisha Cole.

There's also Rise Messiah, who he welcomed with former pageant queen Brittany Bell, and son Legendary who he had with model Bre Tiesi.

Before these six babies were born, Nick welcomed babies Zion and Zillion in June 2021 - also with Abby De La Rosa.

Then there were babies Golden and Powerful Queen, who were welcomed in March 2017 and December 2020 respectively by Nick and Brittany Bell.

And finally, finally, Nick's two eldest children Monroe and Moroccan were born in 2011 when Nick was with ex-wife Mariah Carey.

That brings us to 12. No wonder this guy wants to take a break.

For a dad who has so many kids to keep track of, Nick seems to be doing a pretty good job, dedicating big chunks of his time to his different families, proudly sharing photos of his adorable kids with fans, and keeping track of their lives on social media.

Most recently, Nick spoke about how proud he is of his eldest daughter Monroe, who performed in a cute TikTok video with her mum Mariah, her friend North, and North's mum Kim Kardashian.

The foursome danced to Mariah's trending track 'It's a Wrap', and Nick couldn't have been more impressed.

"My daughter has the entertainment bug," he told Entertainment Tonight.

"[You can] definitely see that connection with her and her mom," he added.

"It's beautiful, the fact that they get to have fun with each other... families are connecting in a different way than ever before."
