Steve Harvey hugs Michael B. Jordan as they meet after actor split up with his daughter Lori

The actor-turned-director and TV presenter hugged it out at a NBA preseason game

No bad blood here! Steve Harvey and Michael B. Jordan hugged it out at a basketball game a year after Jordan's split from Lori Harvey.

Jordan and Harvey were spotted hugging each other as they attended a NBA preseason game between the Dallas Mavericks and the Minnesota Timberwolves in Abu Dhabi on Thursday (5 October).

The actor-turned-director, 36, and TV personality, 66, appeared to be on good terms, more than a year after Jordan broke up with Harvey's daughter, Lori.

The Creed actor had dated Lori for a year and a half before calling it quits in June of last year.

As seen in a short clip shared the NBA Instagram account, the pair looking ecstatic to see each other.

"All smiles at #NBAinAbuDhabi!," the cute clip was captioned.

While the 36-year-old actor was still dating Steve's daughter, Harvey spoke very highly of him.

"But this guy, is such a good guy. He is one of the nicest guys," he said in March 2021 while appearing on The Ellen Degeneres Show.

"I’ve met his father. I’ve sat up with him, we’ve talked for hours. I just can’t find nothing wrong with him."

He later said it was 'the first time I’ve been happy for [Lori in a relationship].'

"I don’t speak publicly about this type of stuff, but I’m happy for my daughter right now. I really am,' the presenter confessed. "He’s just a good guy. "

Even after Jordan split from his daughter, there seemed to be no hard feelings.

While he confirmed he was obviously 'team Lori, 1,000 percent,' he said he still considered the actor to be 'a cool guy.'

The split between Jordan and Harvey appeared to be tough on the actor — he had erased his Instagram account of any trace of the former romance at the time — but he has since revealed that he's no longer looking back.

"I’m a firm believer in that what’s for you is what’s for you, and coming out of that situation — not to give it, you know, any energy and kind of move from that — is you know, it was an experience for me to grow and learn," he told CBS.

"I'm in my light right now," he continued. "This is my year. There's so much going on, so many blessings, so many great things."
