Sophie Turner spotted on night out with Taylor Swift after confirming divorce from Joe Jonas

It’s less than a month since Sophie Turner split from Joe Jonas, but the actor is already living her best single girl life.

The Game of Thrones star has been spotted with Taylor Swift, with the pair enjoying a swanky dinner together in New York.

For those not in the know, Swift and Jonas dated back in 2008 with the pair calling it quits the same year.

Swift claimed Jonas 'broke up with me over the phone in 25 seconds' on the Ellen Degeneres Show, and the split reportedly inspired several songs from her Fearless album – including a track called ‘Mr Perfectly Fine’. (Ouch!)

Understandably, you’d think this would make things awkward between the ‘Style’ singer and Turner, who went on to marry Jonas in Las Vegas a decade later.

However, the Emmy-nominated actor and Swift seem to have become close after meeting on The Graham Norton Show in 2019.

During an interview with Extra, Turner later revealed that she and the Grammy award winner had become friends - even calling her a ‘really sweet girl’.

In fact, the actor was spotted walking arm-in-arm with her estranged husband’s former girlfriend before they grabbed dinner together in Manhattan.

Under the watchful eyes of the world’s press, they were papped as they enjoyed the Big Apple – with some fans speculating that the move was a dig at Turner’s former husband.

One fan even wrote on Twitter: “Oh Joe Jonas, your days are numbered!”

The sighting comes less than two weeks after Jonas filed for divorce, ending his four-year-long marriage to the Game of Thrones actor.

Earlier this month, the A-List couple announced their split in a joint statement on Instagram.

It read: "After four wonderful years of marriage we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage.”

The news broke after days of intense speculation about them, with TMZ initially reporting that the ‘Sucker’ singer had submitted legal documents to a court in Miami Dade county.

The former couple said in a statement: “There are many speculative narratives as to why but, truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children."

Jonas and Turner share two young children, Willa, 3, and a second child whose name has yet to be publicly revealed.
