Kendra Wilkinson has slammed celebrities for not being open about using GLP-1 medication for weight loss.
The former Playboy model has opened up about her own journey with using the medication in weight loss, but was critical of celebrities who are not.
GLP-1 drugs were first licensed for the treatment of the health condition diabetes, as they alter the way the body produces insulin.
However, a side-effect of them is that they create a sensation of feeling full, so when combined with diet and exercise they can be used to support weight loss.

Now there are more iterations of the medication available, including a pill which has recently been approved by the FDA.
Wilkinson shared that she had decided to start using the medication and that 'it wasn't just about weight'.

In a post on her Instagram page, she said: “Starting my GLP-1 journey and being really intentional about how I do it for me, it wasn’t just about weight… it was about feeling better, having more energy, and actually trusting the process instead of rushing it.”
Wilkinson also captioned the post: “I wanted something that felt transparent, supportive, and realistic for my lifestyle.”
She also said that she was looking forward to seeing how things would change in the coming weeks.
But the former Playboy model also added in a barbed remark, saying: “Unlike most people I’m being honest.”
This could have been aimed at other celebrities, who may have reportedly not been as open about using GLP-1 drugs as she is being.

She had previously told Us Weekly: “There’s nothing worse than being in a gym every single day, working out and not seeing any progress.
“I hit 40. I’m happy. I’m at peace, but I noticed that my jeans are a little tighter lately, so I don’t want to go out and shop anymore.
"Mama is on a budget, so I have to fit back in my jeans.”
Wilkinson, 40, found fame when she was one of Hugh Hefner's girlfriends in the show Girls Next Door.
She has since gone on to become a realtor, and has also previously hit back at people who were making remarks about her age, and saying she is now much happier.
"For some reason I’m happier than I’ve ever been lately even with a little weight gain and wrinkles and I’m not going to tie my happiness again into the negative energy," she said previously.
"I am a balanced, single, positive, fun woman who loves life and I hope that I can manage this feeling forever now after working hard to get here to this place.”
