People have criticized Paris Hilton for letting her one-year-old son roam around a boat.

Hilton shares her two children with her husband Carter Reum; Phoenix, one, and nine-month-old daughter London, both of whom the celebrity couple welcomed via surrogate.

The heiress has shared glimpse of her motherhood experiences online, but doing so hasn't always worked in her favour.

Sadly late last year, Hilton was forced to address online trolls' cruel comments about the size of her son's head.

At the time she urged people to 'treat one another with more kindness and empathy'.

Now people have criticized the mom-of-two who recently shared a TikTok video of Phoenix living his best life on a boat.

In the clip the toddler is seen walking around and exploring the boat and seemingly having a blast in the process.

While one of his parents appears to have been monitoring his movements, TikTok users have said that the one-year-old should have been wearing a life jacket.

One fellow parent penned: "Momma, please have him wear a life jacket always on a boat!! Stuff happens. That’s why they’re called accidents."

A second said: "My anxiety not seeing him in a life jacket! Can never be too safe on the water!"

A third echoed: "I’m freaking out that he can literally head straight through those rails in a flash. That’s what they do. Please use a life vest."

But others came to the singer and DJ's defense and pointed out that Phoenix was with someone at all times and that the boat seemingly had guard rails.

One of Hilton's fans wrote: "Do people not realise that this is a big boat with guard rails? She’s extremely close to him and it seems like he’s not coming close to the edges. How did people live before all the extra protections?"

"Can you imagine sharing your precious baby with people and all they do is tell you what you’re doing wrong," fumed another. "You are such a good mama!! She’s RIGHT THERE W/HIM!!!"

Others insisted that the 43-year-old is 'a fantastic mother'.

Hilton herself has since responded to people's comments and reassured them that Phoenix was under constant supervision.

"Hey Mamma’s, thank you for the advice & always caring about my #CutesieCrew," she said in the comments section of her video.

"It’s a big boat & my husband and I are following him around everywhere & watching like hawks. My babies are my world!"

UNILAD has approached Paris Hilton's reps for additional comment.
