Ruby Wax has opened up about the time OJ Simpson 'pretending to kill her' during the pair's infamous interview back in the 90s.
Unearthed once more thanks to presenter Wax's appearance in the I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! jungle, the jaw-dropping clip was filmed shortly after OJ's acquittal in the murder of his wife, Nicole Brown.
The British-American TV personality, now 72, managed to secure an interview with the former NFL player in 1998, four years after he was put on trial over the murder of Brown and her friend Ron Goldman, at their home in Brentwood, Los Angeles.
His televised trial garnered global attention, as did the decision to acquit the football star for the double murder amid accusations of prosecutorial racism and the mishandled evidence.

However, a civil court, which has a lower standard of proof, did find him liable for their deaths.
With OJ free to walk the streets once more despite remaining public suspicion, Wax and millions of others had just one question for the celebrity - 'Did you do it?'

Wax, who rose to prominence with a 1990s TV show called The Full Wax, met Simpson as part of her celebrity interview series Ruby Wax Meets....
Sitting down with the BBC presenter, the ex-NFL star was asked the question that would haunt him for the rest of his life. 'No, I didn't', he responded, before turning his head to look directly into the camera.
While this moment would have been enough, what happened after the interview was truly insane.
Video of the incident shows Wax responding to a knock on her door, which, when opened, revealed Simpson gripping a banana and making a repeated stabbing motion.
In that unhinged moment, he is also making screeching noises - seemingly in reference to the Hitchcock film Psycho's famous shower murder scene.
"That was insane. He tried to kill me with a banana. He said 'I did it' and then said 'April Fool's'," Wax revealed in a later interview.
When asked why Simpson, who many believed to be a murderer up until his death in 2024, had made such a bizarre move in front of the cameras, the presenter explained: "Because he wanted to get caught, he couldn't live with the guilt. He was teasing the whole time."
"After we finished filming, Simpson said to me that he had a surprise for me - and I genuinely was surprised," Wax detailed. "I think it was his idea of a joke."
This was not the only shocking memory of Simpson that Wax has shared in the years after her stunning and 'insane' interview with Simpson, who she went out for dinner with before speaking to on camera.
In spite of his notorious and televised trial, the former NFL star could still draw a crowd of women who were all too happy to go home with him.
"At the restaurant, there was a whole queue of girls lining up to go home with him. And he had quite the appetite for that," Wax told The Times.
"His sister told the girls to get lost. I couldn’t imagine why there were so many people who wanted to sleep with a man regarded as a murderer."
