Mariah Carey's children say they’re 'sick' of hearing All I Want For Christmas song

Monroe and Moroccan have had enough of hearing their mom's iconic Christmas tune

"All I want, for Christmaaaasss, iiiiiissss.... youuuuuu...."

You can hear the tune now, can't you? I'd be impressed if you couldn't, considering that it seems to ring out at least four times a day during the festive season - it's almost impossible to get Mariah's voice out of your head.

There's no denying that 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' remains a certified banger each year, but you have to admit that the song does start to get old after a while.

If you don't believe me, just ask Carey's own children.

The singer took to Instagram on Christmas Eve to share a holiday video with her twins, Monroe and Moroccan, who looked less than impressed as they stood alongside their mom.

Carey was dressed in her iconic Santa-esque red jumpsuit with a white fur trim as she sat on the floor in front of a glowing Christmas tree.

"Mom, please, we don't want to do this every time!" they begged, while dressed in much less festive black clothing.

"It's just being festive!" Carey replied, adding: "It's not every-"

The twins have clearly had enough.

At that moment, Carey cut herself off to break into the tune we all now know off by heart, singing: "I don't want a lot for Christmas."

Unfortunately that was the final straw for the kids, who stormed off camera as they clearly didn't want to hear another note of their mom's famous song.

Carey assured the whole scene was a skit as she shared the video online, writing: “Had to do it. Merry Christmas Eve!!"

The post comes after Carey previously shared a similar video with her kids a couple of years ago, showing her walking into the room in front of the Christmas tree and breaking out into song.

As she was about to sing, 'is you', the camera cut to Monroe and Moroccan who belted out her lyrics in a slightly less perfect tune, causing their two dogs to start barking excitedly.

Fans shared their love for Carey's Christmas tradition after she shared her latest video, with one viewer joking: "I wanna be Mariah Carey’s kids."

Another wrote: "Favourite video I have seen ALL holidays you and this song only get better with age honey."

Carey has since taken to Instagram to thank fans for making her Christmas song Number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and the Global 200 charts.

"I can’t thank you enough for making this Christmas (and honestly, this entire season!) so celebratory for me," she wrote. "Even though it is December 26, Christmas never ends for me (ha ha!) and I will keep sharing some of our festive moments from the past week with you!"

With a few more days to go before the festive season officially comes to an end, there's still plenty of time to hit that play button and hear Carey in all her glory - if you're not sick of her too, that is.
