Liev Schreiber has been treated in hospital after falling unwell on Sunday (November 16).
The Ray Donovan star, 58, was admitted to hospital for a ‘barrage of tests’ after suffering from a severe headache that his doctor warned warranted further investigation.
He was taken to hospital for treatment and admitted overnight as a precaution, reports TMZ.
No further details were given about what had caused his headache or what tests he had undertaken.

"Out of an abundance of caution, Liev went into the hospital for testing and as of this afternoon, he has been cleared to return to work," his representative said in a statement following his short hospital stay.
The hospital dash isn’t the first time Liev has suffered from headaches, with the actor having previously opened up about his struggles with a migraine back in April 2024, which was so severe that it even led him to suffer from a form of temporary amnesia.
Recalling the terrifying experience on an episode of Late Night With Seth Meyers, Schreiber explained that the situation had unfolded while he was performing on Broadway.
"I was in my dressing room and I had a terrible headache," the actor said. "I thought it was maybe a fast food headache, but it felt a little stronger than that. I’m walking down the stairs and I’m thinking, ‘This is not normal. I don’t feel okay.’”
Things soon sent alarm bells ringing however, when Schreiber realized that he couldn’t remember the name of his co-star, Amy Ryan.
"I think, ‘Okay, I’ve had a stroke. This is it,’" he added. However, after undergoing an MRI and a consultation with a neurologist, he was informed there was no brain bleed and his brain looked ‘perfectly fine’.
Instead, he was diagnosed with a condition that caused transient global amnesia, a short-lived condition in which individuals experience a sudden episode of memory loss and confusion.
Although rare, the condition usually only lasts around 24 hours and can be triggered by migraines, physical exertion, sexual intercourse, emotional or psychological stress and sudden temperature changes.
