Ex-fiancée of Lana Del Rey’s husband speaks out following shock wedding one month after romance revealed
Lana Del Rey reportedly tied the knot with alligator tour guide Jeremy Dufrene on September 26 and his former partner has praised union
After Lana Del Rey reportedly wed partner Jeremy Dufrene, the alligator tour guide's ex-fiancée has spoken out.
Del Rey - real name Elizabeth Woolridge Grant - and Dufrene are reported as having obtained a marriage license on Monday (September 23) and tied the knot just three days later.
The 'Video Games' singer and Dufrene are reported as having first met in 2019 while he was giving boat tours of the swamps in Des Allemands - the location their wedding reportedly took place.

A source told People: "The wedding ceremony and reception were both held in the same bayou where Jeremy operates his swamp boats tours. This is where they first met. It's a special place for them. It was a beautiful, relaxed and family focused wedding. The focus was just on their love story."
Images of the special day were obtained by the MailOnline showing Del Rey appearing to walk down the aisle accompanied by her father, Robert Grant. Other images showed floral decor, white tents and people mingling, with the wedding said to be confirmed to People by an employee of Airboat Tours by Arthur.
Prior to his relationship with Del Ray, Dufrene was engaged to a woman named Kelli Welsh MailOnline reports, and the ex has since reflected on the wedding.
Welsh and Dufrene dated as teenagers before splitting and reconnecting again back in 2011.
They got engaged in 2012 but split once more in October 2023 and she admitted to MailOnline she was 'in shock' by how quickly the alligator tour guide and Del Rey got married 'after one month' given she had been engaged to him for '12 years'.
However, she continued: "But I am happy for him. He is a very protective, hardworking, manly man. He needed to get out of his comfort zone. He was used to bayou life and being out on the swamp. He is deserving of this blessing."
Welsh added Dufrene 'has always been a giver so to have someone give to him' is what he 'deserves' praising him for being 'a very solid guy' who has a great 'ability to love and care and protect people'.
Noting she cares 'about him deeply as a friend,' Welsh resolved Dufrene 'really does look happy' with Del Rey and 'she does with him'.
Bitter exes, take this as a lesson you can still be friends with them or wish them well.
