Kirsten Dunst has come to the aid of her husband after he was not featured in the Oscars this year.
Nominations for this year's Oscars went out on Thursday, and Jesse Plemons was not among those included on the prestigious list.
Plemons, who had one of his first big roles in the hit TV series Breaking Bad, recently starred in the movie Bugonia, which also starred Emma Stone.
In the movie, Plemons plays Teddy Gatz, an insane beekeeper who kidnaps Stone's character, pharmaceutical CEO Michelle Fuller.

Plemons is known for playing eccentric and threatening characters, including Todd Alquist in Breaking Bad, who carries out increasingly violent and disturbing acts.
Dunst reposted a story on Instagram which had been shared by another actor in Bugonia, Stavros Halkias.

This included a picture of Halkias looking angry, with another person's hand holding a gun pointed at the camera superimposed over the top.
A caption on the image reads: "Me to everyone who didn't nominate Jesse Plemons for Best Actor tho".
Dunst shared the post, apparently in a show of support for her husband over his performance in the movie.
Nominations for the highly coveted Best Actor this year include Timothée Chalamet in Marty Supreme, Leonardo DiCaprio in One Battle After Another, Ethan Hawke in Blue Moon, Michael B. Jordan in Sinners, and Wagner Moura in The Secret Agent.
However, Bugonia does have some nominations at the Oscars, including for Best Picture, as well as previous Oscar winner Emma Stone being nominated for Best Actress.
In addition to the response, Dunst shared a clip of producer Ev Durán praising Plemons for his performance in the movie.

“Jesse Plemons gives one of the greatest performances of all time,” Durám said.
“Jesse Plemons in this film gives [a] Daniel Day-Lewis, Sidney Poitier–level transcendent performance that I worry is being completely overlooked for f***in’ Chalamet’s Marty Supreme, which was a very good performance, but wasn’t - what Plemons does in this movie is beyond.”
Dunst had also previously shared a separate picture of the movie earlier this month, captioning it: “Some top-level s***."
The Interview with a Vampire star previously opened up to PEOPLE about her thoughts on still working in the movie and TV industry after her breakout role in the 1994 Anne Rice adaptation.
“I think that I just feel very proud that I can keep doing films that I want to do,” she said.
“And that […] the industry has embraced me still and keeps doing so.
"I really appreciate growing up, finding my path and being part of making movies that mean a lot to me.”
