Paparazzi have seemingly caught pop star Katy Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau getting cosy together on a yacht off the coast of Santa Barbara, according to recent reports.
Following her split from actor Orlando Bloom, rumors quickly began circulating regarding the 40-year-old’s relationship with Trudeau, 53, who finalized his divorce from wife Sophie Grégoire in September 2023.
The pair has yet to publicly confirm if they are an item, but TMZ previously shared pictures of the two dining out together in Montreal.
The outlet reported at the time that the celebrities had been in contact for ‘a couple of weeks after meeting at an event’ before being spotted at Le Violon.

'Dark Horse' hitmaker Perry and the father of three were photographed again the next day.
Two days after the initial rendezvous, a video of the politician singing along to 'Firework' at her concert went viral on social media.
The sing-along took place at Perry’s Lifetimes Tour at Montreal’s Bell Centre in July.

Now, new images show the mom-of-one and Trudeau appearing to embrace on a 24-meter yacht called the Caravelle.
Reports state the NSFW snaps were taken while the duo were sailing in the Santa Barbara Channel, California, on September 29.
According to local residents, Perry is the owner of the impressive watercraft.
One tourist who noticed the A-lister and the former Canadian leader said they pulled their boat alongside their own charter vessel before watching them board the top deck.

"She pulled up her boat next to a small public whale-watching boat, then they started making out,” they explained.
"I didn't realize who she was with until I saw the tattoos on the guy's arm, and I immediately realized it was Justin Trudeau.”
Fans have been quick to comment on the images, with many remarking on how shocked they were to see Trudeau, who appeared to be wearing skinny jeans.

Others have praised the pair, with one typing: “Seems like they had fun!”

In August, the Lord of the Rings favorite appeared to acknowledge the rumored spark between his ex-fiancée and the former Liberal Party ticket.

He playfully responded to a satirical Instagram post by The Onion, which appeared to reference the 'California Gurls' singer’s meal with Trudeau.
“Just weeks after announcing his split with fiancée Katy Perry, English actor Orlando Bloom was photographed Friday dining with former German Chancellor Angela Merkel,” the caption read.
“Angela kept Orlando laughing all night; he couldn’t keep his eyes off her!”
