It doesn't look like the beef between Donald Trump and Jimmy Kimmel is going to end anytime soon.
The TV host and president are far from each other's biggest fans and have been publicly slating one another of late.
Their fallout stems from ABC's decision to briefly suspend Kimmel for comments he made about Charlie Kirk and the president. Trump went on to celebrate the news, but it wasn't long until Kimmel was back on air and throwing jibes back.
Jimmy Kimmel Live returned to screens on Tuesday (September 23), and Kimmel addressed the controversy he'd been facing in his highly anticipated opening monologue.

Speaking about Trump, he said: "You almost have to feel sorry for him, he tried his best to cancel me, and instead he forced millions of people to watch the show."

Kimmel continued: "The president of the United States made it very clear he wants to see me and the hundreds of people who work here fired from our jobs. Our leader celebrates Americans losing their livelihoods because he can’t take a joke."
A day later he branded the president a 'bully'.

Now, Kimmel has poked fun at Trump once more in light of the POTUS and First Lady Melania Trump's awkward moment at the UN headquarters in New York.
Melania was in front of her husband, and as the pair stepped onto an escalator it abruptly stopped.
The Trumps and their entourage then had to walk up stairs instead.

The president hit out at the UN afterwards, and stated that the incident 'would have been a disaster' had he and Melania weren't holding on to the handrail.
He proceeded to call on the people responsible for the problem to be arrested. Trump penned on Truth Social: "This was absolutely sabotage, as noted by a day’s earlier 'post' in The London Times that said UN workers 'joked about turning off an escalator.' The people that did it should be arrested!"
While Trump evidently hasn't found the situation funny, many others have — Kimmel included.

Yesterday (September 26), the TV host shared a snap of his sidekick Guillermo Rodriguez on an escalator.
Kimmel captioned the photo: "Headed to Brooklyn! Escalator is working great!"
The 57-year-old is filming multiple shows in Brooklyn next week at the Brooklyn Academy of Music.
The show will air from New York from Monday (September 29), through to Friday (October 3).

Addressing the show's temporary relocation from its base in California, Kimmel quipped that they have 'stay on the move so the FCC can't get us'.
