Former adult star Jenna Jameson shares update revealing body transformation after being left unable to walk

Jenna Jameson was hospitalized with a mystery illness back in 2022.

Former adult film star Jenna Jameson has revealed the latest update to her health after being left unable to walk.

Jenna Marie Massoli - who's known professionally as Jenna Jameson, also as Jenna Lawless since getting married to her partner Jessi Lawless in May 2023 and to others as the 'Queen of Porn' - was hospitalized in 2022 with a mystery illness which saw her ability to move unaided heavily restricted.

The 49-year-old has since opened up about her recovery and how she's doing now in a post to Instagram.

Jameson spoke out at the time about the illness, telling Entertainment Tonight she was 'doing very well' but then out of nowhere, suddenly 'just started collapsing' and 'lost' her ability to walk.

She 'spent about nine months in hospital' but doctors couldn't identify what the problem was. They briefly thought the former adult star's 'extreme muscle weakness' was being caused by Guillain-Barré syndrome or blood cancer.

Jameson was even told by doctors she 'didn't have very long to live' and so decided to take herself out of hospital and take her health 'into [her] own hands,' embarking on making lifestyle changes such as a healthy diet and she's since released the latest update on her journey back to health.

In a post to Instagram earlier this week, she shared two images of herself side-by-side.

The photograph on the left is a selfie of Jameson which shows the former glamour model now, wearing a white bodysuit and white knee-high socks, standing by herself, posing with one hand against the sink in a a bathroom.

The picture on the right shows Lawless in the earlier days of her recovery, holding herself up by a zimmer frame and with a wheelchair behind her, wearing a grey t-shirt and pants, her hair scraped into a bun.

The caption reads: "Here’s a reminder. Count your blessings and be thankful.

"I lost the ability to walk over a year ago and thought I was done. I fought my way back and I’m steadily trying to become a better human on the outside, but more importantly on the inside.

"On this new moon, today, I am manifesting kindness. Love. Happiness. Join me."

And it's not taken long for fans of the star to flood to social media in support of her.

Jameson shared some progress pictures to her social media.
