Grimes has unexpectedly commented on her co-parenting arrangements with Elon Musk.
The musician, whose real name is Claire Elise Boucher, shares three children with Musk.
These are their sons X Æ A-Xii, five, and Techno Mechanicus, three, and their daughter Exa Dark Sideræl, four.
In the past, Grimes, 37, has been tightlipped about her family life, saying that she prefers to protect the privacy of her children.

But in an unusual post on her social media platforms, Grimes gave a rare insight into her co-parenting arrangements with the children's dad, tech billionaire Elon Musk.
Musk, 54, has 14 children with four different women.
He and Grimes started going out in 2018, with Grimes confirming that the relationship had come to an end in March 2022.
Taking to social media, she offered some insight into the co-parenting dynamic.

In a post on Musk's social media platform X on January 22, Grimes wrote: “I try to never talk [about] or show my kids because they deserve the right to anonymity but i just have to say their pure aura is unmatched."
She added: “One of them even inexplicably commanded a flock of crows for [a] while. Might be biased but this seems unusual.”
People took to the comments on the platform to share their agreement with Grimes over protecting her children's privacy, with one writing 'using kids for clout is sh**y af', while others simply wrote 'agree'.

One person then asked about screen time, a contentious topic in parenting amid concerns about the impact that too much screen time has on children's development.
Grimes indicated that this was a sore point, writing: “Huge debate cuz the other parent is fine w it but it’s fairly avoided."
She added: “If it happens we focus on great art and ideally slower stuff like ghibli that isn’t constantly changing context.”
Ghibli is the prestigious Japanese film studio which is known for its distinctive soft style of animation.
It's not the first time that Grimes has spoken about her kids' privacy.

Back in March 2025, shortly after Musk took X Æ A-Xii to a widely photographed press conference at the White House, Grimes wrote on X: “I unfortunately do not control the internet and cannot wipe this from the internet. I have tried begging the public and my kids’ dad to keep them offline, and I’ve tried legal recourse.”
She added: “The state of my children’s lives being public is of grave concern to me and I think about how to solve this every day.
"It’s insane to me that there’s no way to deal with this.”
