Drive-by shooting at Drake's mansion leaves one injured amid beef with Kendrick Lamar

Toronto Police haven't named any culprits as of yet

A man has been left with serious injuries after a drive-by shooting at Drake's home in Toronto.

Officers were called to the rapper's Canada home in the early hours of of this morning (Tuesday, May 7) following the ordeal.

A young man, said to be one of Drake's security guards, was reportedly shot in the chest when the drive-by occurred.

Inspector Paul Krawczyk of Toronto Police's Integrated Gun and Gang Task Force said in a press conference: "That person was working apparently as a security guard at the residence. He was standing outside the gates in front of the residence when the shooting occurred."

It remains unclear who is behind the shooting.

"We have individuals who obviously performed the shooting, who were seen in a vehicle," Krawczyk continued, as per The Hollywood Reporter.

"I do not have a description of the vehicle or the suspects at this time. Again, it’s very early on in the investigation. A tweet by the police said the unnamed man was left with 'serious injuries' and, as of an hour ago, he remains in hospital."

It isn't confirmed if Drake was at home at the time of the incident.
