Britney Spears has spoken out on her short marriage to ex Sam Asghari.
Spears had been extremely candid about aspects of her life over the years, including her estrangement from her sons, Sean, 19, and Jayden, 18.
The singer shares her children with ex-husband Kevin Federline, whom she divorced in 2007.
The boys have predominantly lived with their father following their parents' divorce, and at one point, Spears says she was completely 'cut off' from Jayden and Sean.

Apparently, there were three years where Spears didn't see her kids, according to a new Instagram post she shared.
Alongside a naked shot of the 43-year-old, the 'Toxic' singer said in a now-deleted caption: "We’re just people so fragile and human the hardest years of my life were my two sons gone for those 3 years."
She went on to say of her marriage to Asghari: "I was cut off from calling or texting and I remember in shock my secret to survival was denial and a lot of tears its weird me and Sam were married but it almost felt like a fake distraction to help me deal with it."
Spears wed Sam Asghari in 2022 and split from him two years later.
The pop icon continued to write about how she's now healing and compared herself to being 'hungry again like a child or baby'.
"I'm so hungry it hurts and when I eat its like its my first time ever eating in my life," Spears said.
She added: "I believe although I loved my home there is waaay too much abuse and trauma in there…. Today I thank jesus for food it feel like telling others NO… Owning my body… and letting them REALLY know where I'm from."
The star has now deleted the caption next to a snap of her leaving little to the imagination.
Elsewhere, Asghari has reacted to her comments about their marriage being a 'fake distraction'.
He said via his rep to PEOPLE: "Our marriage was very real to me. It may have been short, but we were together for seven years.
"I was in love with her, will always have love for her, and wish her the best always."
Her candid admission about her kids comes after Spears reconnected with her youngest son last year.
A source told Page Six in November that she and Jayden had been 'spending a lot of time together', but the father of her kids' lawyer claimed that Federline wasn't aware of any reconciliation.
