Internet meme sensation turned rapper Bhad Bhabie has fired back at critics who made fun of her for posting a thirst trap after sharing her 'bad news' cancer diagnosis.

The 22-year-old social media star, real name Danielle Bregoli, racked up over 400,000 likes on the pair of images that she uploaded on Wednesday, March 4, which depict her in all-black, with leggings and a top she is barely fitting into.

While the gas station photoshoot, which also included a picture just showing her figure from behind, received positive comments from some like female rapper Sexyy Red, who simply posted 'Sheshhhh' alongside two smiling faces with heart eyes.

But others thought the Instagram post was a bit bizarre considering Bregoli's revelation last week that she had received 'bad news from my doctor.' While she did not elaborate on the specifics, she added cryptically that 'god has the last say so not my cancer.

Naturally, the 22-year-old's social media post caused a wave of furious discourse online, with one user on X bemoaning: “I pray young women don’t follow these footsteps.

“Value how you look and don’t ever betray your morals for money or attention.”

Others went after Bregoli's physical appearance, which has transformed since she first rose to notoriety on the Dr Phil Show as an uncontrollable 13-year-old whose line delivery instantly made her a meme.

“Catch me outside, that’s what I always do and they never catch me," the teen said in 2016, before delivering the iconic line. "Ain’t nobody gonna catch me. … Cash me outside, how ‘bout dat?”

Some commented on her post about the stark change in appearance, telling Bregoli 'you whole different person' and inferring that the transformation was the result of plastic surgery.

But the rapper did not take this criticism lying down.

Firing back a few hours after posting the gas station photoshoot, Bregoli slammed the people who felt like they could comment on her appearance. “I’m not suppose [sic] to feel pretty because of my cancer? OK smh,” she said on X.

Bregoli's look has changed a lot in recent years, something the rapper blasted people for pointing out in November 2024 revealing her cancer diagnosis by explaining: “I’m sorry my cancer medicine made me loose [sic] weight,.

“I’m slowly gaining back. So, stop running [with] the worst narratives 💕.”

She did not disclose at the time any other information about her condition, which caused some like Perez Hilton to question whether her cancer diagnosis was a hoax. Something her mom shut down in a fiery Instagram post.

Bregoli's mom, Barbara Ann, said: "How dare you, you little vile piece of s**t say my daughter would lie about something like that." Adding: "And, I pray to God that none of your children never get cancer, okay? I've had it twice. How dare you say my daughter is faking this."

Bhad Bhabie herself has spoken out about claims that she is faking having cancer. After coming under fire again in 2024 for having a number of surgeries including a breast enlargement, a nose job, and having silicone removed from her butt.

Bregoli said: "I don't know who told y'all you can't get surgery when you have cancer. I was cleared by my dr mind the business that pays you."

Keeping her condition to herself, she also rejected claims that the surgery was cover for cancer treatment, firing back: "Y'all mfs[sic] so worried about me and y'all don't even know what kind of cancer I have! It's not breast cancer that is a rumor."
