Armie Hammer makes shock admission that he loved ‘roofie-ing people’ after cannibalism accusations

The actor has made a strange confession on his podcast

Armie Hammer has made a shocking confession that he loved ‘roofie-ing people’ following cannibalism claims.

The 38-year-old Californian actor has made some interesting comments recently on his podcast, most notably about his apparent passion for marijuana.

During the July 28 episode of his Armie HammerTime podcast, the father-of-two spoke about the time he allegedly got his The Lone Ranger co-star Johnny Depp 'super stoned' before a press event.

Hammer said back in 2013, when the movie came out, he was smoking 'upwards of 15 to 20 joints a day at the time'.

His buddy Ashton Ramsey ushered in the story for listeners, saying: "The most trouble that you ever got into was when you basically got Johnny super stoned."

"They never let me hang out with Johnny on the press tour after that," Hammer claimed. "They would always keep us apart. They were like, 'You two cannot hang out anymore.'"

However, that's apparently not the only thing morally questionable that Hammer has admitted to, as in the podcast he also laughed about allegedly having 'poisoned' people with his bad habit.

The Social Network star said: "I loved marijuana roofie-ing people, I loved poisoning people," to which Ramsey butted in to urge him to 'self-censor'.

The insight comes as Hammer is still attempting to distance himself from accusations ranging from sexual assault and rape to cannibalism that surfaced in 2021.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney's office decided it would not charge the actor on the allegations due to 'insufficient evidence', though Hammer is still asked about his supposed links to cannibalism from time to time.

This comes from an alleged leaked text conversation where Hammer seemingly came to confess he is '100 percent a cannibal'.

The text continued: "F**k, that's scary to admit. I've never admitted that before. I've cut the heart out of a living animal before and eaten it while still warm."

Earlier this year on The Louis Theroux Podcast, Hammer broke his silence on the text message, stating: "I think the most important context to give these kinds of things is they are one side of a conversation. As you'll notice, of all of the text messages that were released, the person who released them, their side was cut out of the entire conversation.

"It makes it look like I was just rambling to myself. I mean, if you look, there's really no response in any of the excerpts."

When pressed further by the British journalist if he was a cannibal, he hit back: "You know what you have to do to actually be a cannibal? You have to actually eat human flesh. So no."

However, the Call Me By Your Name star did say he once took a bite out of a living animal's heart as part of a hunting 'tradition', stating that he was 'goad[ed]' by his buddies.

"It's sort of like an almost overly charged male rite of passage when you go hunting for the first time," Hammer said. "Everyone that I know who went hunting for their first time had to do something similar."

He added he cut out the animal's heart 'not for the purpose of any cannibalism or sexual gratification'.

Hammer also told Painful Lessons last year that he could look at the accusations now 'with a sense of distance' - and realize how 'hilarious' it was.
