Sophie Turner has finally put to bed the tidbit of gossip that has been sending the rumour mill into overdrive: Yes, she is pregnant with baby number two.

She and Joe Jonas finally confirmed one of Hollywood's worst kept secrets at the 2022 Met Gala, appearing on the red carpet cradling Turner's growing baby bump.

Turner wore a stunning black dress with metallic embellishments on the front while her husband Joe donned an elaborate white tuxedo jacket with an eccentric flair at the back.

According to previous reports by In Touch, the Game of Thrones star is 'proud of her bump' and the couple is 'absolutely ecstatic' to be welcoming a little brother or sister for their first-born Willa.

Until now, Turner and Jonas have remained tight-lipped about the second pregnancy, despite some pretty revealing photos of the couple surfacing online in recent weeks.

The confirmation of the second Jonas-Turner baby comes after the couple took a very different approach to their first pregnancy.

The dynamic duo confirmed nothing and did not formally announce the birth of their first child, Willa.

Interestingly, Sophie used her first pregnancy to encourage people to wear a face mask while they were out in public.

Sick of seeing people complain about being required to don a face covering to protect themselves and others from Covid-19, Sophie launched into an epic rant.

In a video uploaded to social media, Tuner said: ‘If I can wear a mask while I give birth, you can wear a mask at Walmart. And that’s the tea.’

It wasn't the first time Turner had spoken out about people not following COVID rules.

In March last year, the actor posted a video on social media telling people to stay inside and practise social distancing.

She said at the time, ‘Stay inside. Don’t be f*cking stupid. Even if you count your freedom […] over your health. I don’t give a f*ck about your freedom.'
