Kim Kardashian roasted for most low effort Christmas outfit since the 3 wise men donned plain robes

Whatever happened to an ugly Christmas sweater?

Kim Kardashian is being absolutely ripped to shreds for her 'low effort' Christmas outfit.

While the social media influencer might be deemed a fashion icon by many, it seems that Kardashian has well and truly missed the mark.

As the pictures from Paris Hilton’s Christmas party began circulating all over social media, the internet couldn't help but take note of the reality star’s outfit.

Kardashian opted for a more casual look with black laced pants and traded in the ‘Yeezus’ tee for a ‘Up in Smoke’ tour shirt.

Unfortunately, the star stuck out like a sore thumb when snapped next to Hilton, who wore a red face dress and silver crystal-encrusted Miu Miu high heels.

According to Page Six, Kardashian had just come from her nephew Mason Disick’s Bar Mitzvah.

Again, bold look for such an occasion.

As you guessed, people were quick to slam Kardashian for her less-than-festive look.

One person wrote in response to Kris Jenner’s comment insisting Hilton throws the best parties: “Kris you all looked wonderful except Kim she needs mental help rn [right now]. Showing up like a revel to a holiday party! Ever since Pete she's been tripping!”

Another commented: “@krisjenner what in the world is your daughter wearing?”

While another said: “@krisjenner but Kim was underdressed Kris ! Was going on????”

However, this isn’t the only fashion blunder Kardashian has seen recently.

The 42-year-old has also found herself swept up in the Balenciaga scandal after the company was accused of sexualising minors in their campaigns.

One of the fashion house’s holiday campaigns featured children holding teddy bears dressed in bondage gear.

Another one Balenciaga's campaigns with sportswear company Adidas showed an hourglass handbag placed on top of a pile of papers spread across an office desk.

However, given a closer look, one of the papers shows the 2008 Supreme Court ruling of United States vs Williams - the case that questioned if child pornography violated the first amendment of free speech.

Balenciaga has since issued an apology; however, Kardashian, who is a long-time collaborator of the brand, revealed last month that she would ‘re-evaluate’ her relationship with them.

She wrote in part: "I have been quiet for the past few days, not because I haven’t been disgusted and outraged by the recent Balenciaga campaigns, but because I wanted an opportunity to speak to their team to understand for myself how this could have happened.”

She concluded: "As for my future with Balenciaga, I am currently re-evaluating my relationship with the brand, basing it off their willingness to accept accountability for something that should have never happened to begin with — & the actions I am expecting to see them take to protect children."
