Kelly Ripa's shocked reaction as she learns her son has been named one of the sexiest men alive
She had no clue he had made the list
Kelly Ripa had an hilarious reaction after finding out her 25-year-old son was named ‘one of the sexiest men alive’ while live on TV.
As you may have seen, earlier this week People magazine released its Sexiest Man Alive issue, with actor Chris Evan scooping Sexiest Man Alive for 2022.
Among those on the list was Michael Consuelos - Ripa’s eldest son - but it seems the actor had kept tight-lipped about the news as his mum had no idea until she was told on TV. You can see how that played out here:

Ripa was sat next to co-host Ryan Seacrest on their show Live with Kelly and Ryan on Wednesday, November 9, when Seacrest made the big reveal.
Holding up a copy of the magazine, he said he had been flipping through when he saw the ‘next gen’ segment of the list which contained a ‘next gen Consuelos’ alongside his dad - and Ripa’s husband - Mark.
Sitting behind him, Ripa craned her neck to look at who it was asking: “Wait… is that?”
After confirming that it was in fact her son, a shocked Ripa said: “Are you kidding me?” before grabbing the magazine from Seacrest and popping on her glasses for a better look.
Ripa then added: “You would think he would tell us, so we could pick up a couple of copies for the grandparents.”
Commenting on the similarities between her son and his dad, Ripa went on: “First of all, it’s funny, I forget that they look alike until I see photos of them like that.”
Ripa then read part of the feature that accompanied her son, where it stated: “Michael respects his father’s work ethic.” Responding to that, Ripa joked: “Yeah, he worked one day last week.”
She went on: ‘I admire my dad’s organisation, timeliness. Growing up we were always really early, and if I’m not early someplace, I kind of freak out.’ That is true, Mark has made us all crazy about time. If we’re not two hours early, we’re late.”
But the proud mum couldn’t resist sharing a sweet message to her son, addressing him directly she said: “Michael Consuelos. I always considered you just a handsome, lovely fellow...conscientious, hard-working, diligent, respectful. I had no idea that you were considered...sexy.”
And it seems that he is equally as proud of his famous mum, during his interview with People, he said: "I've heard a lot of the stories [about her] growing up and it's really cool to see all that hard work come to fruition for her.
"I'm really proud of her."
