Kanye West says he's not going to speak, have sex or watch porn for 30 days for a cleanse

The rapper is taking some time off for November.

Kanye West is embarking on a 30-day sex and porn cleanse following his anti-Semitic and ‘White Lives Matter’ t-shirt scandal.

Ye took to Twitter after getting access to his account again and he revealed that he would rid himself of his favourite guilty pleasures for a month.

He wrote: “I’m taking a 30 day cleanse.

“A verbal fast. No alcohol. No adult films. No intercourse.

“In God we praise. Amen.

“But my Twitter still lit.”

The bizarre announcement instantly sent the internet into a frenzy as one person wrote: “Ye quitting adult films & intercourse but staying on Twitter is sorta like if a meth addict was like ‘thats it. I'm done. no more cigarettes.’”

Another said: “Kanye taking drastic measures to make it through No Nut November.”

A third person commented: “This is a normal month for me.”

While another shared: “Some people would rather blame the consequences of their deliberately horrific actions on sex and drinking instead of seeking therapy.”

While Ye said he is taking a vow of silence, he has been very active on Twitter since his account was restored.

He posted two photos of Migos after one of the rapping trio, Takeoff, was tragically killed by a stray bullet during a shooting at a private party in Houston this week.

He also launched into a scathing attack against his close friend and personal trainer, Harley Pasternak.

The rapper shared screenshots of his messages with Harley, where the trainer presented him with two options: sit down and have a ration, facts-based chat, or be institutionalized again and be force-fed medication to control his behavior.

It's clear Kanye hasn't taken this well. Maybe his team of publicists should change all the passwords to his social media accounts during his cleanse. You know, just for safe measure.

The ‘Runaway’ rapper’s detox statement comes after his biggest partnerships dropped him, including Vogue, Gap and more recently, Adidas.

After facing much scrutiny for being late to the party, last week, the German multinational sportswear brand issued a statement to confirm they were officially cutting ties with West.

Adidas stated they do not wish to encourage ‘hate speech’ as they stand for ‘diversity and inclusion, mutual respect and fairness’.

Additionally, after Ye debuted his ‘White Lives Matter’ t-shirts at Paris Fashion Week last month, Black rights activists Ramses Ja and Quinton Ward announced that they had trademarked the controversial phrase.

In an interview with radio station Real 92.3, Ja said: “We are the holder of the federal trademark for White Lives Matter.

“If you want to sell that shirt, you have to come knock on my door, or you have to face Morris, my lawyer.”

They said that any money made from the use of the trademarked phrase would go towards Black and Brown communities.
