Kai Cenat had to hold a FAT L after an awkward encounter with Tyla on his stream.
Sometimes you have to shoot your shot, shooters shoot after all. But popular the Twitch streamer couldn’t have picked a worst time to try his luck.
South African singer Tyla is a hot name right now in the industry, has legions of fans and likely is asked out regularly... that didn’t stop Kai though.
In a brazen move he decided to ask her out while streaming to his fans.

I wouldn't recommend a grand gesture like that unless you are SURE they are going to say yes, but hey, maybe he thought he had it in the bag - how wrong he was.
Claiming to be playing a game of truth of dare with those watching his stream, Kai asked Tyla if she wanted to go on a date with him.
After questioning whether he was being genuine, Tyla awkwardly said: "Don’t do that."
Not a great start. Strike one.
He then doubled down and asked when she gets some free time whether she would like to go on a date with him.
Now things get really bad.
The singer then said he can’t do this on live and looked around, seemingly for a hole to swallow her up in. Strike two.
She then ummed and ahhed before saying: "But we friends though." Strike three, you’re out.
The clip, that has been viewed more than 7.3 million times, has been circulating on X and fans can’t help but ridicule the streamer.
Kai did take it on chin and continued to smile through the whole car crash, but like Bart Simpson would say: "You can actually pinpoint the second when his heart rips in half."
Social media certainly stays undefeated as viewers really did pile on the jokes.
“She solidified the rejection with the arm touch lol,” one user wrote.
“Getting rejected on live in front of 200k people is sick work ima have to end the stream,” another commented.
“The arm pat at the end seeled the friendzone,” a third joked.
“Getting friendzone on your Livestream is enough to send one to retirement,” someone else commented.
“He prolly thought she'd accept given the fact that they on live stream, bro was murdered,” another user joked.
At the end of the day, it happens to the best of us, you would just hope next time it won’t be immortalized on the internet. Hang in their Kai.
