Jason Bateman has spoken about the awkward conversation he had with his daughter about sex.
There comes a time for most parents where it's important to sit down with their kids and have *that* chat.
But Jason explained that during the uncomfortable conversation, he used a rather bizarre analogy to explain sex.
The actor, 58, was appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live when he recalled the awkward exchange with his 14-year-old daughter, Maple.

“I did ask her how that's going [and] does she have any questions or is she all up to date 'cause I didn't want to tell her anything that I don't need to, you know," Jason began.
“Maybe she sensed that this was an uncomfortable area for me. So, I think she played dumb and she's like, ‘Yeah, I'm not positive on a bunch of stuff.’”

Jason explained that while he was expecting his daughter to cut him off at some point, she didn't, and he ended up going through a rather detailed explanation.
“I did find myself getting to the portion of, um, when the release happens, right? Which is a necessary component,” he continued.
“You don't want to be saying the word ‘ejaculate’ to your daughter, right? That's not a great term. There's a lot of description with that that I didn't want to get into.”
Jason explained that he instead used a rather odd analogy, about the 'penis screaming'.
“I said, ‘When the male member is inside of the woman's member, it's so lovely, there is so much love,’” he said.
“To avoid that term, I said, ‘The penis just screams and it's the equivalent of the penis just yelling, “I love you!” And it yells the love into the woman and then you get you, baby.’”
Jason explained he was 'starting to sweat' just recalling the conversation.

The actor is dad to Maple, as well as daughter Francesca, 19, with his wife, actor and producer Amanda Anka.
The pair have been married since 2001 after meeting when they were teenagers and being friends for around a decade before becoming romantically involved.
In 2019, when receiving a SAG Award for his performance in Ozark, Jason gave an emotional tribute to his family, thanking them for their support.
"Without you, none of it would be enjoyable and it probably wouldn’t be possible," he said.
"I love you more than I even tell you I do."
