Clueless guy chats up Suki Waterhouse and asks her if she's got a boyfriend

Cringe-worthy footage shows an apparently completely clueless guy chatting up actor Suki Waterhouse and questioning if she has a boyfriend.

Dating can be tough, so it's good to shoot your shot when you spot someone you think you might have a connection with. For this particular guy, Waterhouse was that someone.

Unfortunately, however, the man clearly know that Waterhouse already had a boyfriend - and a pretty famous one, at that.

It all started when Waterhouse, who is a model, actor and singer, was at a gas station with her friend. The guy spotted her and decided to try and win her over with some chat, but Waterhouse wasn't having it.

She attempted to end the conversation, saying 'bye honey' and walking away. Her friend even managed to capture her 'wtf' look on camera, but that's not where this story ends.

Most people would - and should - recognize Waterhouse's goodbye as a signal to stop pursuing her, but not this guy. Instead, he proceeded to lightly jog after Waterhouse and ask for her number.

Since the blatant goodbye and exit she'd attempted earlier didn't work, Waterhouse then explained that she had a boyfriend.

Footage of the exchange was shared on TikTok, with the caption: "when a man is trying to hit on you but all you want to find is a med man."

So, who exactly is Waterhouse's boyfriend? Well, it's none other than Robert Pattinson.

Yep, Edward from Twilight, Cedric Diggory from Harry Potter, and, of course, Batman. That's her boyfriend, so I imagine that the guy is feeling a little like a joker right now - and he's definitely on team Jacob.

Of course, people were quick to pick up on the unfortunate situation on TikTok, with one user saying what we're all thinking: "I have a boyfriend....... he's Batman."

Another viewer wanted to see a scene straight out of Gotham play out, writing: "Was expecting to hear the Batmobile start up at the end."

Unfortunately there's wasn't much follow-up after the video was posted, so it's unclear whether the man ever came to realise who he'd attempted to chat up. Though, after the footage went viral, it would probably be a tough thing for him to avoid.

Fans have begged to see how it's all panned out, with one person commenting: "someone find this man i need a reaction to him finding out not only who she is but who her boyfriend is lmao."

While one seconded that opinion: "i would pay BIG money to see that guys reaction when he went home and googled who her boyfriend is."

Spectacular. Almost as spectacular as Pattinson's sparkly skin in Twilight.
