Britney Spears has addressed rumours that her brand new tattoo was in fact for Justin Timberlake.
The 41-year-old, now free from her controversial conservatorship, has been active on social media documenting her new way of life.
In recent days, the pop star has splashed the cash on a new tattoo, one she is yet to reveal the look of.
She made the announcement around the same time she posted pictures with Timberlake when the pair were dating.

Despite later deleting the post, some fans had suggested that the two posts were linked - but the singer has confirmed it was strictly a coincidence.
Taking to Instagram, Spears said: "Just to clarify... my tattoo had nothing to do with an ex in the past!!!
"I simply did it because I wanted to !!! The pic with my ex is a time where there was less confusion on what it meant to be together ... it is what it is !!!"
The pictures that Spears shared on Instagram was snaps of her and Timberlake in matching jerseys at a charity basketball game in 2001.
In the now deleted post, the 'Toxic' singer said: "When we used to shoot hoops TOGETHER … that’s when miracles happened."
She then added a cryptic message claiming that she was a 'cast out', adding: "I came out of my mom’s stomach just like we all did !!! Psss … why always cast me out ??? I’m equal as all !!!"
Shortly after, the pop star shared a clip of her getting a tattoo in Hawaii, something that didn't exactly go how she planned.
It is safe to say that the 'Hold Me Closer' singer is regretting the tattoo, as she then invited an artist into her hotel room to add more ink.
In the short clip, Spears danced around before the artist started tattooing her arm.
"It's tattoo time!" she says, baring her forearm.
She wrote in the caption: "Tattoo in Maui 3 days ago !!! Can’t show it because it sucks !!! Like really really sucks !!! S*** !!! Psss … I have to fix it !!!"
It does appear Spears saw the funny side of the tattoo though, as she included laughing face emojis in the caption.
The latest tattoo is one of many Spears that has had inked on her, including a triangle tattoo on her right hand and a fairy on her lower back.
