Britney Spears assures fans she’s not dead as conspiracy theories run rampant

In a flashback post, the singer reminded fans she's not dead and needs to get back out there and shake her a**.

Britney Spears has clapped back at conspiracy rumors and confirms she is definitely not dead.

Since the pop star’s conservatorship was terminated in November 2021, Spears has become more vocal on social media.

She's discussed the control she was under when her father, Jamie, was appointed her legal guardian.

The ‘Toxic’ singer has posted a flashback of herself dancing with her manager Cade Hudson at a club during her Las Vegas Residency.

She penned to Instagram: "I saw this today and cried like a baby !!! I think it was my second year working in Vegas !!! Of course I was never allowed to drink with my crew so I never went out really !!!"

However, the 41-year-old assured fans that there’s nothing to worry about, and this is merely a reminder that she needs to get back out there.

Spears said: "Psss this is not a memoir, I am not dead people !!! This is a flashback to remind me to get my a** on the dance floor and shake my a** !!! PSSS I'm an equal American citizen now !!! I can go to spas now too !!!"

She continued: "Remember all things wicked come from innocence !!! I get to go to Vegas and be wicked like my mom now !!! JUST SAYING !!!"

Spears added at the end of her post that she has turned comments off on her Instagram account so fans can no longer offer their opinions.

However, her Instagram account has since been deleted.

The singer recently rekindled a relationship with her mother, Lynne Spears - who she mentions in the post - after a years-long feud.

Page Six reported that her mother flew to Los Angeles last month to see her daughter after being estranged for years.

The mother took an Uber to her daughter’s mansion, and the hangout reportedly only lasted about 30 minutes.

Before her conservatorship ended, Spears took aim at her mother and family in a since-deleted social media post.

In her post, she said her family is ‘hurting [her] deeper than [they’ll] ever know’, urging that she’s seeking ‘justice’ against those who harmed her.

She added: "The moment I SMILE and I realise I haven’t in a very long time !!!! My mum gets so CONCERNED and says ‘You’re acting weird … what’s wrong with you ???’ I say ‘Hi, my name is Britney Spears … nice to finally meet you !!!

"Before I go any further, forgive me in advance …. It’s been 13 years and I’m a little rusty !!!! It was a family business before … it’s no longer that anymore !!!! I was BORN today cause I get to SMILE … so thank you for exiting out of my life and finally allowing me to live mine !!!!"
