Blake Lively was banned from Disneyland after some behaviour that wouldn't leave Mickey Mouse too impressed.

The American actor, 35, has played countless badass characters over the years - including wild-child Serena van der Woodsen in Gossip Girl- but it turns out that the naughty behaviour doesn't stop there.

Speaking on the The Late Show with David Letterman back in 2009, she explained to the audience how she got 'banned from Disneyland for a year.'

While it may seem surprising that Lively, now a mother to three - James, Inez and Betty Reynolds - could ever be banned from anywhere, the star was in fact once banned from Disneyland.

Going way back to Lively being just six-years-old, her naughty antics got her in quite some trouble with Mr Mouse.

"I was really young," she began, "so I wasn't responsible for this, it was my brother's fault."

Explaining how attendees were let into the amusement park, Lively continued: "You get a stamp when you leave the park.

"If you spray hairspray on it, you can transfer them to someone else's hand.

"So, in the parking lot, he went up to somebody and said 'Hey can we spray hairspray on your hand?' and we transferred it.

"Then we go in through the turn stall," and recounts how disguised officers known as 'Fox people' took the pair aside.

"They take us aside, and I'm like six-years-old, and my brother says 'No matter what they say, do not confess," she added.

Lively called the situation 'traumatising'.

After being taken for interrogation downstairs in Disneyland, Lively notes how "it was crazy and it was really scary and traumatising.

"They wanted us to admit that we were trying to get in for free and then ban us for life."

Lively admitted: "We were strong. We said that we didn't do it but they said that they had us on tape from the parking lot."

Since being six-years-old, it's clear that Disneyland has found it in their hearts to forgive Blake Lively as she recently celebrated her birthday there, posting on Instagram: "Find me a happier place on earth to start my birthday celebrations early. I’ll wait…"

Lively also co-hosted this year's prestigious Met Gala alongside fellow actor husband, Ryan Reynolds.

Reynolds recently broadcasted his 'life-saving' colonoscopy after losing a bet to actor, Rob McElhenney.

The Deadpool actor used his experience to raise awareness about colorectal cancer and doctors discovered a benign polyp on the right side of his colon.

"This was potentially life-saving for you, I'm not kidding, I'm not being overly dramatic," the doctor tells him. "This is exactly why you do this. You had no symptoms."
