A woman who discovered that her husband at the time was a paedophile has shared the terms that they are on now.
Lynsey Crombie, known as the 'Queen of Clean', made the horrifying discovery about her now ex-husband when she was pregnant with twins.
Lynsey revealed that at the time she had no inkling of the dark truth of what her ex-husband was until the police knocked on their door at 5am, before ransacking the house and taking him away.
The shock and trauma of the discovery made Lynsey, who was 28 weeks pregnant at the time, go into early labour.
Fortunately, her daughters, now 22, were okay, but Lynsey told how she struggled with the discovery about the man she had trusted.
After finding out the truth, she told This Morning that she had started scrubbing everything, including herself, with bleach in an effort to rid herself of her ex's 'germs'.
She recalled him spending a ton of time in his office and 'pulling the plug' out of the computer when she came in the room (ITV) Lynsey said that this actually led her to become fixated on cleaning, ironically, something that she was able to turn into a successful business.
As for her relationship with her ex-husband - there isn't one. She cut him and his family out of her life entirely, and her daughters have no relationship with him.
She shared that when he was in prison, her ex had previously reached out to her with letters, and that he had had multiple stints in prison.
"He got two years last year, it’s the third or fourth time he’s been in,” she said, saying that police found 'content of children and animals on his computer'.
Shockingly, Lynsey would discover that her ex had previously had a conviction related to child sex offences, and that his family had known about it.
She said that her ex's mom had told him he had a criminal past, but didn't reveal the nature of it.
Lynsey Crombie had no idea of her ex-husband's criminal past (ITV) Now, she has cut them out completely and is happily married to her husband Rob, with whom she has a teenage son.
Lynsey explained that her daughters also consider Rob to be their dad.
The 'Queen of Clean' previously opened up about the horrifying moment she discovered the truth to the Daily Mail.
She said: “I remember pouring it [bleach] all over the work surfaces, and over my own hands and arms, and I scrubbed. I scrubbed everything - myself included - with a scourer. I remember thinking that this man had touched me physically and I want all his germs to go."
Lynsey also remembered moments which she didn't realize were red flags, such as her ex-husband spending excessive time on his computer and physically pulling the plug out when she entered the room.
