Beauty queen, 26, dies in horrific car crash just weeks after she predicted her own 'funeral'

Ariana Viera died in a car crash at 26, she was set to compete in the Miss Latin America of the World 2023 pageant in October

A beauty queen has died just a matter of weeks after predicting her own ‘funeral’.

Ariana Viera, 26, reportedly fell asleep at the wheel of her car and crashed, dying later on the way to hospital.

However, just weeks before, she’d shared a social media post in which she made reference to her own ‘future funeral’.

The beauty queen was set to represent her home nation of Venezuela at the Miss Latin America of the World 2023 pageant in the Dominican Republic in October, but died after her car crashed into the back of another vehicle at speed when she allegedly fell asleep while driving.

She sustained serious and life-threatening injuries in the crash, which took place on July 13 in Orlando.

Her mother claims she was suffering from fatigue and had fallen asleep, hitting another vehicle in front of her.

At the time of her death, she was preparing to take place in another beauty pageant in New York City.

Her mum, Vivian Ochoa, explained how medical professionals managed to revive her, but ultimately she died from her injuries.

Ochoa said: “They revived her, she had a heart attack, they revived her again and when they were going to take her to trauma care, she had nothing left,

“My girl fell asleep, she was tired.”

Paying tribute to her daughter, Ochoa added: “She helped too many people.

“She would stop everything to help you or listen to you.

“She was always there for her friends, her brothers, her mother.”

As well as her pageant work, Ariana was also embarking on a modelling career and ran a cleaning company.

According to local reports, her father – who lives in Peru – couldn’t even make her funeral because he couldn’t get a visa in time, with the documents issued a day late.

On May 2, Ariana had shared a video of herself with the caption: “Filming myself for my future funeral because it's always me in the videos, no one else does it.”

This tragic coincidence didn’t go unnoticed by people online.

One person commented: “I hadn't seen this. Holy God.

“Predicting her future.

“How painful to see this.”

Viera had a budding modelling career as well as her own cleaning company.

Another wrote: “Whenever I see this type of tragedy when the deceased posted a video about their death in the future, it almost always happens.”

A third commented: “Incredible how sometimes things are decreed.”

In a heartbreaking post, Ariana’s mom wrote about how she was ‘full of pain and sadness’ after her daughter’s death.

“I only ask God for strength and strength to carry on with my family and my children, as well as I ask for protection for them,” she added.

“Honesty I don't know how our lives will go on without you.

“I just wish I could hug you and kiss you... hear your laugh.”

She described her daughter as her ‘light, her joy, her desire to live’.
