A fight broke out at Disney World between two families after one refused to move out of the way of a photo.

It's hardly what you'd expect at 'the happiest place on Earth'.

According to the Orange County Sheriff's Office, the fight started after one family wanted to take a picture in front of the park's 100th anniversary sign just by the Magic Kingdom, but the other refused to move out of the way.

Police said that they responded to the fight at the park at 2.30pm on Monday (15 May).

Things then reportedly escalated when it got physical, leading to a punch being thrown by one of the family members, the New York Post reports.

One person is even seen being knocked to the ground amidst the chaos.

The video of the incident later shows someone being arrested by police after the fight got out of control.

At least one person is confirmed to have received medical treatment following the incident.

However, they have declined to press charges, the sheriff's office says.

Two people were asked to leave though charges have not been pressed.

Orange County deputies also confirmed that two people involved in the latest punch up were asked to leave the park following the incident.

Disney World has not yet commented on the situation.

However, this isn't the first time this has happened at the parks.

Back in 2019, a violent family brawl broke out in Mickey's Toontown in the California park after a woman appeared to spit in a man’s face during an argument, with the events being captured by visitors to the park.

This led to police officers being called to the park to break up the disagreement between the brother and sister, closing the case initially until they saw the video of the incident.

And in June 2022, a brawl involving more than ten people broke out outside Mickey’s PhilharMagic theatre.

This led to two people being arrested as a result and numerous people found themselves banned from Disney's parks.

The park then issued a statement which warned guests to maintain appropriate conduct during their visits to the parks, otherwise they 'may be asked to leave'.

It read: “Be the magic you want to see in the world. You must always remember to treat others with respect, kindness and compassion.

"Those who can’t live up to this simple wish may be asked to leave Walt Disney World Resort.”
