Hours after Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash announced the death of his stepdaughter, a post came from her Instagram account.

Last night (July 21), the rockstar confirmed that at the young age of just 25, his stepdaughter Lucy-Bleu Knight was pronounced dead in Los Angeles, California.

Her cause of death is currently unknown.

But three hours after he released a heart-wrenching statement about Lucy-Bleu on his own Instagram account, a chilling picture with captions came out on hers - despite Slash having confirmed she died days earlier on July 19.

Both Slash and his partner posted the following statement on their Instagram accounts announcing the devastating news: "Lucy-Bleu Knight (December 6, 1998), beloved daughter of Meegan Hodges and Mark Knight, stepdaughter of Samantha Somers Knight and Slash, sister of Scarlet Knight, stepsister of London and Cash Hudson, passed away peacefully in Los Angeles, CA on July 19, 2024.

"Lucy-Bleu was an incredibly talented artist, a passionate dreamer, and a charming, lovable, sweet soul.

"The family asks for privacy at this time and requests that social media speculation be kept to a minimum as they grieve and process this devastating loss."

However, just hours after the announcement, a post appeared on her personal Instagram account.

The post, which showed a selfie of the young woman, read: "Whether I made you feel excluded, manipulated/ controlled you, told you to quit your day job from the comfort of being financially supported by my parents, or drowned real issues in toxic positivity-I am sorry.

"Countless missed opportunities and connections due to a disgustingly big ego, insecure heart and fear of being vulnerable.

"May my soul learn to evolve from my poor job at being Lucy-Bleu. Peace."

Replying to the post, her mom commented: "MY BABY GIRL! I LOVE YOU WITH EVERYTHING. I'M SO SORRY."

On July 21, Slash announced that he would be cancelling a number of dates from his upcoming tour.

A statement read: “Due to unforeseen circumstances, the S.E.R.P.E.N.T tour regrettably has to cancel the below performances. Refunds will be available at points of purchase."

According to LinkedIn, Lucy-Bleu worked as a day-to-day manager at Electric Lady Management.

She was one of two daughters, alongside sister Scarlet, of Meegan Hodges and musician Mark Knight - who co-founded the rock band Bang Tango in 1988.

Before Hodges and Knight got together, Lucy-Bleu's mom dated Slash in 1989 before splitting up and getting back together in 2015. But Slash, born Saul Hudson, continued to see Lucy-Bleu as one of his own children, alongside London and Cash Hudson.
