Michelle Obama has detailed the one policy implemented by Donald Trump's administration that 'keeps her up at night'.

It's safe to say Michelle and Trump are on the opposite ends of the political spectrum, so it comes as no surprise the former first lady is not a fan of the policies introduced by the 47th POTUS.

Since returning to the White House for his second term, Trump has signed countless executive orders, including renaming the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America and signing a bill eradicating the Department of Education.

The Republican president also signed off an order that will change elections as we know it - something which was passed in the US House earlier this month.

Tackling immigration has also been a key priority for the Trump administration, with latest reports suggesting 350 deportation flights have taken place since Trump returned to office.

Michelle discussed such during a conversation about race and fear on a recent podcast.

"In this current climate, for me it’s what’s happening to immigrants," Michelle said on the On Purpose with Jay Shetty podcast.

"It’s not the fear for myself anymore. I drive around in a four-car motorcade with a police escort. I’m Michelle Obama. I do still worry about my daughters in the world, even though they are somewhat recognizable."

The former first lady added: "There’s so much bias and so much racism and so much ignorance that fuels those kind of choices. I worry for people of color all over this country, and I don’t know that we will have the advocates to protect everybody.

"And that … frightens me, it keeps me up at night. How do you how do you feel comfortable going to work, going to school, when you know that there could be people out here judging you and who could upend your life in a second — that’s who I worry for right now."

Michelle refused to name Trump by name, but I think we can all assume she's talking about the president's policies here.

President Obama has previously spoken about Trump's presidency, but like his wife, refused to address Trump by name.

In a speech at Hamilton College in Clinton, New York, earlier this month, Obama said: "Look, I don't think what we just witnessed in terms of economic policy and tariffs is going to be good for America, but that's a specific policy. I'm more deeply concerned with a federal government that threatens universities if they don't give up students who are exercising their right to free speech.

"I am more troubled by the idea that a White House can say to law firms, 'If you represent parties that we don't like, we're going to pull all our business or bar you from representing people effectively.' That kind of behavior is contrary to the basic compact we have as Americans."
