Newly obtained body cam footage shows police respond to a confrontation at the Georgia home of the woman accused of plotting to kill her husband in the Bahamas.

An argument was captured on camera just days before Lindsay Shiver was arrested for allegedly plotting to kill her husband Robert while on vacation. Watch below:

The video happened to be the same day Shiver allegedly planned the murder-for-hire with her suspected lover Terrance Bethel, 28, and a man named Faron Newbold, 29.

“On July 16, 2023 at Abaco, while being together did, with a common purpose agree to commit an offense, namely the murder of Richard Shiver,” the police report read.

The confrontation between the married couple was said to be over her sudden plans to join him and their children on a private jet to the Bahamas - a confrontation which resulted in Robert shoving his wife, allegedly.

“Living in the same house is hell on Earth, as you can imagine,” Lindsay Shiver told an officer from the Thomasville Police Department on July 16.

“He got super aggressive and that’s when I called immediately,” she said. “He’s been physical before, and I’m just not doing that.”

Robert Shiver denied claims that he shoved his wife.

“It’s a he-said-she-said situation,” the officer told them. “We run into it all the time.”

According to a WhatsApp message seen in court documents, Shiver told her alleged lover Bethel and Newbold - the man she hired as a hitman - to ‘kill him’, as well as sharing photographs of her estranged husband.

Bahamian police say Shiver admitted to sending the message and the photos after she was interrogated by officers.

The alleged plot came to light after Bethel became a suspect in an unrelated burglary, which led to his phone being obtained in a search warrant.

Prosecutors say after looking through the phone they recovered the messages sent between Shiver, Bethel and the would-be hitman, Newbold.

After police found the message, they informed Mr Shiver and the three suspects were arrested.

Shiver, Bethel, and Newbold were all transported from Great Guana Cay to Nassau, where Shiver remains at the notorious Fox Hill prison.

The suspects are due back in court on October 5.

Mr Shiver is reportedly in the US with the couple’s three children.

Attorneys for the mom-of-three denied the affair, stating in court documents: “Any extramarital relationship defendant has had was during the parties’ separation and legally condoned by husband.”
