Gypsy Rose Blanchard opens up on ‘pain’ she is feeling after post break-up plastic surgery

The former inmate underwent the knife on Friday, April 5

Gypsy Rose Blanchard has spoken out following her plastic surgery.

The convicted felon was released from prison in December 2023 after serving eight years of her decade-long sentence.

She was imprisoned in July 2016 following her involvement with her mother Dee Dee Blanchard's death a year prior.

In interviews following her mom's death, Blanchard said killing her was 'the only way out'.

Dee Dee spent most of Blanchard's childhood lying that her daughter was terminally ill.

Fast forward to her release late last year and Blanchard is undergoing a huge changes in her life.

She's called time on her two year-long marriage from Ryan Anderson in recent days and has moved in with her father and step-mom in Louisiana.

Blanchard also voiced her plans of having a nose job - which she had on Friday, April 5.

Giving an update on her condition post-surgery, Blanchard told PEOPLE on Saturday, April 6: "I come in and out of sleep. I was in pain at first but I am on pain medicine."

"I can't breathe through my nose because of the packing but that comes off on the 10th," she continued to share. "I want to see it so bad!"

As Blanchard recovers from her surgery, her estranged husband is recovering from their split - which he claims 'came out of the blue'.

Anderson has alleged that Blanchard, 32, has been linked to her ex-boyfriend Ken Urker.

The pair have reportedly been seen holding hands in her home state of Louisiana, where Blanchard is currently residing. Their romance is yet to be confirmed by them, however.

Speaking out on the reports of her reported rekindled romance with her ex, Anderson told MailOnline: "I'm not doing well with it. For me it just came out of the blue. I had no idea she still had such strong feelings for him."

The 37-year-old went on to insist that he's keeping their puppy Pixie, whom they adopted together in January.

"I haven't spoken to her, so I just don't know what's going on," Anderson added.

"I'm at a loss. I'm really not doing well at all."

Blanchard hasn't given any details into why they've split.

In her announcement, she simply shared that she and Anderson were 'going through a separation'.

"I am learning to listen to my heart," she continued. "Right now I need time to let myself find… who I am."
