Following his sentencing, Bryan Kohberger will spend the rest of his life in a maximum-security prison that has very strict rules.
Bryan Kohberger was sentenced for the murder of four Idaho college students on July 23 in a case that shocked the world.
The four students that were discovered dead at their home in Moscow, Idaho in 2022 were Ethan Chapin, Xana Kernodle, Kaylee Goncalves, and Madison Mogen.
Last month, the 30-year-old Kohberger changed his innocent plea to guilty on all charges as part of a deal which allowed him the possibility of ending up on death row.

He was sentenced to life in prison and was condemned by the victim’s families in the hearing, with many of them reading scathing statements directed at him.
As part of the plea deal, Kohberger will not be able to appeal his sentence and won't be allowed any leniency.

The 30-year-old former criminologist received four consecutive life sentences as well as another 10 years, and he will spend this sentence at the Idaho Maximum Security Institution, which has been called ‘hell on Earth’ by Inside Edition.

Bail bondsman Kevin Corson spoke to Inside Edition and explained that Kohberger will likely have a target on his back when he enters prison.
Corson said: “Bryan Kohberger will have a target on his back as he is accused of murdering women which is frowned upon in the prison system.”
The report also detailed the conditions Kohberger will be living in.

The murderer will be in solitary confinement and would be expected to be in his cell 23 hours a day, where his meals will be slid through a slot in the door.
It is not clear whether Kohberger will be allowed visitors but if he is, he would do so remotely from a section inside the prison.
Newsnation’s Brian Entin was recently granted access to the prison and gave his insights on the condition.
He said: “It is sterile, it feels very maximum security, they send everything through a little opening in the door, food etc.

Speaking to Fox News Digital, a spokesperson said: “Once in IDOC custody, the person goes through a Reception and Diagnostic Unit (RDU) process to evaluate their needs and determine appropriate housing placement; this process takes 7-14 days.
“We wait until a person completes RDU to determine their classification, housing placement, and privileges."
