Stormy Daniels says Donald Trump fan threatened to ‘slit her throat’ after she spoke out

The former adult film star said she isn't afraid of Trump, but she is afraid of his supporters

Former adult entertainment star Stormy Daniels has revealed how a supporter of Donald Trump threatened to 'slit her throat'.

In an interview on Good Morning Britain, Daniels revealed she had received death threats from supporters of the former US president after she spoke out against him.

She alleges that Donald Trump had 'cornered' her in a bathroom when she was in her 20s. Daniels said she had previously been paid $130,000 in 'hush money' during the 2016 presidential campaign.

Daniels has re-entered the spotlight after saying she would 'absolutely' testify against Donald Trump.

Trump is currently facing 34 felony counts of falsifying business records, as well as his alleged role in paying 'hush money' to two women in the 2016 presidential campaign.

Trump has pleaded not guilty to all the charges and denies having sex with Daniels or being aware of the $130,000 payment.

Now, Daniels has opened up in an interview on Good Morning Britain about the abuse and threats she has received since she stood up.

She said: "He's way more repulsive and offensive than I am, and I'm the one that's dragged. Somehow it's all my fault when I didn't do anything wrong.

"I was a young twenty-something girl and he was more than twice my age. He cornered me in a bathroom with his bodyguard outside the door and intimidated me."

She added that although she is not afraid of Trump himself, she is afraid of his supporters.

She said: "He doesn't scare me at all. I'm frightened of his sycophants, his followers. It's the tone that has changed from the first time around quite a bit. In 2018 when the story first broke about me of course I was attacked.

"I was called a sl*t and a gold digger all of these horrible things.

"A lot of them are opinions, it doesn't really matter, but now they have become bold.

"Their threats are more real. They used to do it from hidden accounts or blocked numbers. Now they're doing it from their real accounts and real numbers.

"I can look up the name of the person that literally said they're going to come to my house and slit my throat.

"They've threatened me, my family and friends. They feel empowered because he has incited these riots."

Despite his legal troubles, Trump has announced he will contest the Republican primary for the 2024 presidential election.

Another favourite for the 2024 presidential campaign is far-right Florida governor Ron de Santis, with recent reports suggesting de Santis intends to announce his candidacy in a conversation with Twitter owner and CEO Elon Musk.
