A group of rich kids who appeared on a UK reality show where they became homeless for three nights all came to the same conclusion.

The show, Rich Kids Go Homeless, first aired on Channel 5 back in 2019 and featured a group of mega entitled young people who had lived privileged lives.

In a thread recently shared on X, one person posted clips of the show, warning: "I found a YouTube channel that films rich kids going homeless for 3 nights.

"No money... No shelter... No phone.

"Oddly enough, they all had the same realization.

"Parents, if you don’t want to raise entitled, naive kids… Watch this."

In one clip, viewers meet Kieran Hamilton, who earned his fortune through cryptocurrency. He said: "I feel like the homeless could do a lot more for themselves. A lot of the homeless are weak minded and lazy.

"But we shouldn't be like that because you're already at rock bottom, you can't get any worse.

"You can only get better, as you may as well keep trying."

When Kieran spends a night on the street, he's threatened with a knife after suspected of being a cop.

Meanwhile, heir to a multi-million pound trust fund, Hanif, said: "I think a lot of homeless people are lazy due to the fact they've probably given up on life."

But after meeting a man named George, who gave him his tent and shared his food, Hanif said: "I said the homeless were lazy and didn't want to get off the streets but that couldn't be further away from the reality.

"George is a man who adds more to his community than people living in houses. The preconceived notion I had was completely wrong."

Next up was Jay, who says his grandfather had a net worth of £18million ($23million).

"Anyone who says that money doesn't buy happiness, doesn't know what they're talking about," Jay said initially.

Jay also claimed people on the streets can be 'lazy' and 'dirty'.

But after a few nights sleeping outside and meeting a man named Reese, George explained: "It doesn't matter that I came from a quite privileged background and it doesn't necessarily matter that he hasn't."

One rich kid, Josh, had an emotional moment on the streets after explaining he was shocked at how few people stopped to help him.

When he asked one man for a pound - and was given a £10 note ($12.70) - Josh could be seen bursting into tears.

"You don't know how many people said no," he said.

"I was getting rejected a lot and I wasn't expecting that. Everyone was busy... £10 is a lot of money. Asking for a pound is one thing but being given 10 is another."

At the end of the X thread, the poster explained: "The worst thing you can do to an inheritor as a parent is to isolate your children from the real world.

"It’s a one way road to naivety and being taken advantage of when they grow up."
