Man fired after his racist, homophobic rant is captured on flight

Man fired after his racist, homophobic rant is captured on flight

Zachary Easterly has now been removed from his position at GlaxoSmithKline after a racist outburst on a plane in Philadelphia

A man has been fired after a homophobic and racist rant saw him booted off a plane.

The man was filmed using a number of slurs while drunkenly kicking off on the flight, and he’s since been given the old heave-ho from his employer, chemical company GlaxoSmithKline as a result of his actions.

You can see one of the videos taken of the man's bizarre racist outburst here:

The man was the subject of two videos taken on a flight that he boarded at Philadelphia International Airport after drinking too much.

Dressed in a black t-shirt, he could be seen and heard swearing and shouting as he was getting booted from the flight.

At one stage, he could be heard sarcastically complaining about how he is a ‘a white male that picked a black bag because I’m racist.’

He added: “You’re kicking me off the plane because I’m racist.”

The man was removed for his behaviour.

A second video showed him using the n-word on several occasions.

Whilst getting removed from the flight, which was supposed to be headed for Dallas, he also admitted that he was ‘a little intoxicated’ but insisted he didn’t do anything wrong other than that.

Then, he shouted at the entirety of the plane, saying that everyone was a ‘liberal f****t’ and expressing his hopes that they ‘crash the f***ing plane’.

As he was about to leave for the last time, he then revealed that he works as a chemical engineer for GlaxoSmithKline.

“I’m going to quit the f***ing job this week,” he ranted before stating that the British pharmaceutical company is ‘one of the best f***ing companies in the world’.

The man has now been sacked.

By last Thursday, GSK had made up his mind for him, announcing that he was to be fired.

The London-based company condemned their former employee’s actions as ‘reprehensible’ and said that he was not representative of the company’s culture.

They released a statement that read: “At GSK, diversity, equity and inclusion is embraced and celebrated and we are committed in policy, principle and practice to maintaining an environment which prohibits discriminatory behavior and provides equal opportunity for all persons.”

In another clip, released later on TMZ, an employee escorted the man away whilst he shouted the n-word repeatedly at them.

He also described himself as a ‘cool motherf***er’ and said that he wanted to grab the employee’s pistol and shoot Black people.

The man shouted racist and homophobic slurs on board.

The man then claimed that he had ’10 times [the employee’s] IQ’.

A bystander then told him to shut up, before the man said ‘I’ll pull my pistol, I’ll kill your f***ing family’.

UNILAD has contacted GlaxoSmithKline for further comment.
