A Donald Trump impersonator is absolutely thrilled the former President of the United States wants to reclaim the White House in 2024.

Trump officially announced his 2024 bid on November 16, which came as a surprise to pretty much no one.

While some people might be sighing and cringing at the thought of another Trump election campaign, actor John Di Domenico is stoked.

Di Domenico is an expert impressionist, actor, and comedian and has been sending up Donald Trump since 2004.

Fast-forward 18 years, and he's appeared on Conan, Jimmy Kimmel Live, and The Late Late Show With James Corden to show off his top-notch impression of America's 45th President.

Speaking to UNILAD, Di Domenico revealed that work is already picking up after Trump revealed his plans to land the White House once again.

"As far as work is concerned, over the next two years, I’ve definitely seen an improvement," Di Domenico said.

"I’ve seen a bump already since he announced it on [November 16]."

He added: "My agent has let me know about a [TV] commercial inquiry, a voice over, and two live bookings."

He revealed that his workload went through the roof when Trump ran for President in 2015, which saw him 'crisscrossing the country' to spoof the now-76-year-old.

"It was great," Di Domenico said.

"I [also] got to do some TV shows and some movies [as Trump]."

Di Domenico went on to add that Trump's 2024 bid for the White House was 'inevitable'.

"He has literally not stopped campaigning since he came down that escalator in 2015," the Emmy Award-nominated actor said.

"I’m a little surprised it's this early but it's going to be two non-stop years of campaigning."

He added cheekily: "It’s going to mean more exposure and more press, just like this."

And, if you're looking for tips on how to perfect your own Trump impression, don't worry, we've got you.

"For voice the thing, you can do, which is the fastest way to get to Trump, is Christopher Walken," Di Domenico said.

"Because if you can do [a] Christopher Walken [impression], you can do Donald Trump.

"For Trump, just add on a little more of the nasality ... [and] then just kind of go up and down as you’re talking."

He added: "Rise [your inflection] up a little bit and then really low, which is the Trump whisper."

But the real key? Di Domenico revealed you should over-enunciate random words and then comment on what you just said.
