The Seattle Police Department isn't the only US police force cracking down in the run up to Christmas.

Operation 'Santa's Naughty Lil Sellers' conducted by Flagler County Sheriff's Office (FCSO) has seen a whopping 123kg of drugs seized over the past year, alongside 13 firearms and substantial wads of cash, altogether totalling a mega $5.7 million worth of illegal substances.

The force served 35 arrest warrants - suspects of who, altogether, face a total of 58 charges.

Sheriff Staly revealed police had confiscated over $5m of drugs during the operation.

Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staly reflected on the success of the operation at a press conference.

He said: "This should also be a warning to drug dealers that, if you are not listed on these boards in this operation, I suggest you get out of Flagler County because you are next.

"And if you sell a fatal dose of poison, we will investigate you until we can lock you up for murder."

It may be Christmas, but it's clear there's no such thing as slowing down to join in on the festive fun when there's crime to be cracking down on and both FCSO and Seattle Police Department are cracking down and cracking down hard.
